Standard looking Zed going across the roundabout on the ring road at the end of the A11 today not long after lunch. Driven by a guy, looked very clean and tidy with excellent paintwork. Reg started G35:thumbup1:

Hi guys. Been looking at pics of zeds giving me ideas to make mine similar too. Have came across this and this is similar to what I want. Have 99spec bumper, gotta get type s or similar side skirts has I think that's the only thing I'd change in pick ths car has none and needs something to bring the sides down with front bumper. It's a little to low but wheels are the kinda type I'd love anyone know what they are and if or where I could buy something similar Thanks for looking.

I am installing 3 drift iridium gauges below the radio. I am having trouble getting the sensor wires through the firewall, I have the boost one through and it doesn't leave space for the other two. I think I can see an O2 sensor just behind the turbo in the top of the exhaust, I have to intercept the signal between that and the ecu. I suppose this can be done in the footwell can anyone advise me. From what I know it is not a wideband so it is a... Narrowband? And I realise it will be afr on one side only. The oil temp should be easy enough, any more advice on getting through that bloody firewall would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom.

for those of you who remember, I had a cold start issue with my zed causing it stall after about 15 seconds after starting. the problem wasn't too bad at first but just got worse and worse as time went on. the car has been in the garage for 2 weeks now. they first diagnosed the problem as it being the aav and pipes, so with help and parts from mark derby (thanks mate) these have now been fitted and have half solved the problem. thing is now it doesn't stall after 15 seconds, it lasts 1 1/2 minutes then starts running crap again till the engine is warm. the mechanic has said he's guna try and have another bash tomorrow once the engine is cold again. he said somethi…

it seems to me theres a lot of threads of late about clutch boosters. the reason for my thread is ive tried bleeding my clutch on my car and cant get any better than the bitten point right near the floor but im no mechanic but my question is maybe when i put the engine back in i might have put a pipe on wrong ? what is a clutch booster and could it affect it like mine?

I have two pairs of tubs one with M24 and the other with M27 on, is one manual and the other auto? The pipework I got with the M24's bolts straight onto the inlet and outlet of the compressor. The M27's have no bolt holes and looks like it needs couplers to attach the pipework. These are the tubs I will be using. Is there different pipework for different models? If so can I just replace the first section for each tub, will it meet up with the rest alright or do I need a full system?

Ok, really thinking about selling the Zed. So far i have had it out the garage about 6 times this year, Thinking i might get something that i dont mind getting rained on. So the general details of the car: 1992 300zx TT LWB 48K Miles Manual 18'' wheels with Avon ZZ3 ( approx 5-6mm tread ) red Samco hoses Scorpion quad Exhaust braided brake pipes Flip out dvd/cd screen ( cost £1000 brand new ) Bilstien B6 shocks ( less than 500 miles on them ) Grey tweed interior Japspeed Lockout bar Now the car will be going in for a full respray before being sold, the reason for this is i have started to prep it for paint. Great weather today and managed to do a little painting which I've been putting off for a while. First started cleaning them down then gave the hubs two coats of black and the callipers a few coats of the red stuff. Looking great now and a major difference along with the 19's.

Only me there as usual but thats not a problem for me. Its a friendly low key place with lots of like minded people having fun. The weather was good till late afternoon . I now have a line lock fitted to the car so I was able to warm up the Mickey Thompsons . Result was a 0.2 sec improvement over last month. Three sub 15 sec runs today with a best for the day of 14.83 at 94.35 mph. I was well pleased with that. On a later but slower run I nearly had a sub2sec 60ft time. 2.07sec.:taz: I still have a random small missfire/hesitation at full revs under WOT. Only occasional and lasts a couple of tenths of a sec only. I would like to chase that down before Santa…
