Hi everyone, long time no "see" ( been working on my bike) Drove to Antwerp last weekend, only about 160 km from here. Didn´t thrash the car or anything as it´s a 120km limit there. when I started the car the next morning the cold idle was about 2000 rmp, dropping to around 1500 rpm when warm. I´ve: 1: disconnected the ECU for a while to no avail, 2: done an ECU diagnostic with a 55 result ( No errors) 3: Checked MAF and air filters 4: checked the ECU water temp sensor 5: disconnected the AAV and turned the base idle down, which brought the revs down to 1600rpm when cold and 1050 when warm. Throttle bodies were c…

As part of the final stage of development on the Turbonoz Z32, still on stock Auto turbos & injectors but with a Nismo adjustable FPR: 447.6bhp & 462.1lbft Flywheel 389.2whp & 420.1lbft Wheels Still on 2" IC pipework, stock turbo elbows & manifolds. At the dyno now, will update if it goes higher. Turbos have nothing left to give: Peaking to 1.45 bar and holding 1.2 bar to the redline. Lots of fuelling left, solid as a rock & very repeatable. Might upgrade the FMIC & pipework, otherwise this is it until larger injectors & turbos. For information: my last 1/4 mile run of 12.74@111mph was done at 415.4bhp. FINAL RES…

Had a cutting out issue with my 2+2 TT Auto that eventually proved to be the MAF. During my investigation of the fault I replaced the fuel filter, as this was a cheap task and I had just bought the car and couldn't verify how new the current one was.... The filter however looked brand new. It was also a lot bigger than stock as the clamp fixing it to the inner wing would not go around it properly. I am now wondering if there is an advantage in having an 'oversized' fuel filter? I do not know the history of the vehicle (injector sizes, performance tweaks etc) but it seems pretty stock from what I can see.....
