Having cleaned and set my AAI valve, I decided to replace the gasket as I suspected a slight air leak. I have removed and re fitted this a couple of times now, so was confidant all would go well. It did, until I came to tightening the last bolt, I felt a crack and the bolt started to feel loose. My heart sank as I realised that I had just stripped the thread. God do I feel Sh*t. So, my my question is, could someone point me in the right direction to a "How To" guide for removing the plenum please? preferably with pictures. Also, how difficult a first time job is it? say 1 being easy and 10 being very hard. I am thinking of helli-coiling all 4 holes…

So, do these actually work properly with the full version of conzult? Alternatively, does the data scan cable work with it?

i seem to be having trouble trying to locate dipped headlamp bulb for 300zx import.i can get clear bulb but i need a blue one i take it could be an uprated bright bulb.it is bulb with two prongs. thanks,alli.

Met the owner of the black na, he also owns a 260z and isn't a member of any clubs any longer. Didn't see the owner of the red one it was in ferndown industrial estate, sat on work equip's with a silver 300zx sticker down the side.

Who are taking there ZED's out to play over the bank holiday? are you cruizing down the high street looking at the reflections in the windows as you drive down with music goin? or is it pull them out the garage a wash wax and stare with a fag in one hand and a brew in the other and say wish i had you going so i can take you out down the high street so i can see my reflection in the shop windows and listen to my music. Ok, quite a simple one . . . so I thought. My heater blower suddenly stopped working one day. It's not the motor unit itself, that works, as i've put in a temporary switch so i can still de-fog my windscreen. I've had a good look in the manual and it suggests, from process of elimination, that it's the relay. Is that a common problem or is it more likely something else? Any ideas?

Been having a think about whether or not to re fit the tein coilovers I have, have sent the fronts away to be refurbished. And tbh iv decided to go done the route of shocks and lowering springs. Now question is how much are a set of teins worth these days? As I say front are fully refurbished. Cheers.

I've installed my intake pipes under the headlights but the mounting holes won't line up, any idea if there a difference between the Series or something like that?

What's one of these worth, I have one in good condition. Was a silver one that someone (not me) sprayed black, did a good job on it tho. Just looked at it and I'm not sure if it was silver to start with? Looks like it was always black

after manual conversion i want to blow my zed :( a couple things ... after an hour driving gearbox gets so hot it`s impossible to hold gear knob and you need to open windows cos it gets so hot... Zed is trying to stall in first and second gear ... and you need to accelerate realy hard ... in first second and third gear when you accelerate and let your foot of the accelerator pedal gear selector is trying to jump to neutral :( .... any ideas what went wrong ?

So I like the look of the SPL Pro range of adjustable suspension arms However.... ...they don't do front camber arms. There are other manufacturer options, but what are good quality front camber arms, that will last?

Is there anywhere in the uk that you can get the tt stillen front lip? Also what's the best method to smooth of the sills?

Alright lads basically my fuel pump has started making tale tale noises that it's a bit shot. was up for sale but taken it off the market for now...... went to pick her up from my old address last night, at about half ten and got home at half 2!! car wouldnt stay running, kept just cutting out like someone was turning off the key, revs just dropped instantly, then finally got it running and after about 2 miles started to get really hot so pulled over and saw steam coming from under the bonnet!! so sat on the side of the road waiting for the AA to rescue me........ just had a gut full now, had it 6+ months and just one thing after another, going to send it to my mate for him to see whats what and if he cant sort it then it will be bitz'd if he can sort…

A couple of zeds booked in for replacement radiators today, nothing new there however one of them had a larger alloy rad. It was one of the ones that are very popular having been available at good price for a few years now, this was a surprise to see how bad it had failed, not only was it leaking from a crack in the header but the lower part of the matrix had blown out and down, just like a 20 year old Nissan unit, a bit disappointing? on a 3 year old unit? I've been trying to move a bolt that's been stuck for many years as JeffTT said previously to try tightening an Allen key bolt with a nut round it. I just cannot move the dam nut. Any ideas on the best way to move it?

Not touched the tt for about 6 months and decided to give it a jump start today and pulling with all my mite aint popping the bonnet - any suggestions? Cant see anything worth lubricating to help.
