I'm currently measuring the daily drain on an unused but alarmed Z and want to know how low I dare let the voltage drop before the car won't start properly. I'm no sparkie though I'm aware it's actually amps that crank the car, but I'm getting the following readings and at some point the volt number will be too low to start: Sun morning: 12.45v Mon morning: 12.29v Tue morning: 12.09v Wed morning: 11.98v Thu morning: 11.90v ^ these are including opening/closing central locking once per morning, leaving alarmed/immobilized and not starting/driving car

Got a standard TT steering wheel that is a bit tatty around the edge, and have seen a few aftermarket ones that I thought would look nice on my zed. The trouble is, most of the boss-kits state that they are not suitable for HICAS unless lock-out bars are fitted etc. Seen one on eBay last night that's quite close to me that the seller says is off a Z32 twin-turbo. I asked him where he sourced his boss for this and he sent me one of the ebay links I've already seen that state 'not suitable for HICAS, etc.' , He stated that the boss has NOTHING to do with HICAS and quantifies this by stating that his HICAS was working fine with the wheel/non-hicas boss combo. From the rea…

If the recircs are making the goose honk noise, will this affect performance? The air is obviously passing due to low spring pressure but its going back into the intake so its not a boost leak, or is it?

Hi Guys , at the rear of the gearboxes, i'm assuming its the same for all variants, is a cylindical casting at an angle. When removed there is a gear at the end which splices onto a wheel inside the rear of the box. now the one i removed from a NA auto box does not fit the hole of a TT Autobox, so there are some differences, but my main question is what does this sensor detect?. is it speed or rpm? Also, if i reduce the dia of the sensor to fit the TT box, (its a couple of mm off dia) will it work? Thanks Rich
