Had my car on the Dyno today, best run was 407bhp but it started climbing out the rollers so they had to stop as it was affecting the readings. The car had a misfire at higher revs too apparently, as it went on the rolling road it certainly wasn't running on all 6 then seemed to clear. I took a video and I would appreciate it if anyone can advise me on the smoke, what it could be and how to sort it, thankz :)

Anyone who is running their Zed on 19" rims, what profile tyre are you using on them?

  4. Been working today on getting the car prepared to have the floor pan and sills welded. Spent the morning taking out the seats and carpet to reveal the extent of the rot. Then spent an hour with a hot air gun removing the sound deadening and managed to only burn myself a bit once, which is pretty good going for me ! Other than the rust you can see, there was not much else lurking underneath, which is good new. Is it possible to get replacement floor pan panels ? If so does anyone know where I can get one quickly ?

Anyone in/near Croydon with Conzult? I have a long running smoking problem on hard accel. Seems like over fuelling to me but want to run a diagnostic and rule out potential issues. I've never used Conzult before and don't have it so hoping someone on here can help out... Thanks Vig

So I've ended up buying 2. One is genuine from a forum member and the other is from a company called import car parts and is advertised as OE Quality. So I'm curious what the differences are if anyone knows and what's the best of the 2. Here are some pictures, the Nissan one is on the right:

Don`t get some peoples idea of removing and supplying an engine, currently fitting an engine for a customer who bought it not seen. The customer removed the plenum for powder coating and dropped the rest with us for build up cam belt service etc etc and fit into his zed. But why remove the engine by cutting the wiring loom to the alternator, cut the oil cooler rubber pipes, hack the ac pipes, cut the cable to the oil pressure sender etc. So making the job harder by cutting stuff is just bonkers, next to no time saving when removing from the donor zed, just unprofessional and lazy in my view! I am now looking at how much to insure when I finally pull my finger out and get my Z back on the road.... Let alone taxing it.. and the MOT.... Does anyone know if the emissions come into play with a 1991 Z...? I threw away the cats and went straight through 3 inch pipework.... I got a quote for agreed value (needs a written valuation done), fully comp, Garaged, 5000 miles limit, £250 excess, £75 glass excess, All mods declared, includes legal and breakdown recovery and buy back in case of write off...... Was quoted by LynBrook £269.69..... Is that a competitive price?? Haven't used my car for 6 years and last paid about £850 fully comp.....:w00t: Ch…

Hi all. I keep reading about people having boost creep problems with bigger turbos at high boost and rpm using the 3" down pipes. Has anyone come across this problem? I hear the solution is to remove the divider in the down pipes. Cheers dan

So, I'm having a daft half hour so I thought I would post up and hopefully be considered for the post of the year which I believe will be awarded at JAE. So, I've decided, Artztogo (Chris) is really Mick Fleetwood (from Fleetwood Mac) So here's Chris winning a well deserved award at JAE 2012... I can then imagine this being Chris, on some talk show discussing his big win... And then on the red carpet and posing for pictures... And his old sound system -vs- the new sound system, he prefers blue over purple now :) OLD NEW (he doesn't even need to stand before and pretend he's playing this one. And finally, s…
