First issue with my new zed, luckily only minor, but annoying fault. I knew the glovebox was a bit iffy when I bought it, but it used to shut after a few goes. But now won't shut, no matter how often I try. Any way the mechanism can be fixed, or do I need to replace the whole door?

It was MOT time today.... And it failed ! Hole in back edge of drivers side sill (knew about this wanted to ensure there was nothing else lurking around) Crack in floorpan under drivers seat Excessive travel on handbrake and only 18% efficiency (even though the engine stalled trying to pull away last night with it on) bad earth on rear lights causing the brake lights to flash with the indicators HIDs turn off when high beam comes on - Now this has always been the case since I installed them 5 years ago and put in the earth wire as per threads on here. Has anyone else been pinged on this ? Does anyone have any handbrake shoes, just in case I need to c…

My Z puffs out some grey-bluish smoke on start up as though it might be oil pooling somewhere? After a run it clears and it was left ticking over the other day whilst being MOTd and didn't smoke at all. Any ideas what it could be? Thankz

Ok odd question, hopefully Silverline will be assisting but thought I'd throw it out there to see what people can think of. Problem is the standard oil tree fouls the steering rack of the 200, so if I sit the engine higher I can get a sandwich plate in but I think the engine is too high. I have a remote oil filter set up so just need to run a feed out and a return. Current idea is 1 off the sandwich plate and the other off the thread where the filter would screw to. Ideal situation would be no sandwich plate on the bottom and the return / feed off the oil tree or even cut the tree and weld the sandwich plate to that so I can lower the engine. For reference the …

So my zed has a blown head gasket, compression down to 80psi on the right bank. Sadly I haven't got the funds to fix it, so I'm going to have to sell it as is. Damn :( No photos on this PC but when I get some I'll put a for sale thread up. Didn't even get a summer out of her, ack!

I had my first Spa Francorchamps track sessions last week-end, and my 300ZXTT turned the switch to "full pleasure"! After the second 25 minutes run, having pushed a little closer to the possibilities, but still staying far from using full 500 Bhp power, everything whent fine, including the StopTech brakes, Tein suspension, and even T1R toyos. But then, partking the car on a slight slope on the Datsun-France stand, .... I could not close my driver door correctly! I put it back on flat zone, and even with this situation something had moved, and I continued with the locked door... entering the passenger side! So now: Is this coming from the lack of ri…
