So my zeds in the body shop getting a rear arch tuck and a quick prep of the sills after I took the old skirts off. That's only cost me less than £150 but just bought 4 new 19" falken tyres and got a kirb fixed. Then next month I plan a full strip down and respray which will be about 1500 as i'm stripping her myself. Plan to renew all the rubbers with new and get some new lights so all in i'm gonna be close to £2,500 this year. And this year I will be ready for JAE Next year i'm wanting to go for an engine rebuild then new interior. Big plans for my lady still to come.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Rolandas and Eggs. I have been working on a plenum pull and during my exploits I discovered some split pipework. I posted comments about my woes and these guy's very kindly helped me out. Not only did they refuse any payment for the them, they even wavered the postage! I can't thank you guy's enough and just needed to make my gratitude puplic. Cheers Guy's:thumbup1::thumbup1::thumbup1:

Just got car back from Garage. Been told the Rocker cover Gasket is leaking badly. Garage was going to charge £650 to repair this. So instead have decided to give it a go myself. How long do you reckon this will take me, first time at stripping down one of these engines. Any advice or tips appreciated! Cheers, Nick

Obviously with seats down i'll be able to but will have my little girl & mrs. with me, so, do you think it'll fit in the very large boot as is or if I put 1 seat down and put it in on it's side? Hi, I recently purchased new rotors for my 300zx n/a import but they don't fit they sent me 28mm x 280mm front discs and 16mm x 173mm rear discs but my rear discs are not vented they are solid. I was hoping someone could explain to me why the rear discs are solid and why I'm having so much trouble finding the exact dimensions of the discs even called Nissan for part numbers but they came back as TT discs. many thanks.

Got my June edition today and its a good read this month. On page 34 "Blast from the past"is all about the z32 300zx a view from someone who is not an owner. Are the 300zx lights "to close together?" Page 46 Interview with John Fuggles of JAE fame and our own Steve Burns gets a mention. Page 75 Nice read for you Pulsar fans.

Finally got my coil overs fitted. they were second hand bought from a forum member, had them for a while before eventually fitting them. managed to get them on all right, and adjusted the height a couple of times but still think I can go lower. But the most annoying thing is the rears (one in particular) squeak like a bitch. sounds awful and is ruining my driving experience. I tried a bit of wd40 as a simple fix, and after a spirited drive it must of seeped in because it stopped, (or greatly reduced). but now after a couple more drives its come back. Eventually I do plan to get the wheel off and give it a better lube. but is this going to be a case, lubing it up ever…

Another question! Im hearing some slight sqeaky noises from both front wheel swhich sound a lot like i need to replace the bearings. Would it be best to order and replace them directly or should i just replace the front axle? Anyone have an idea what would be involved in cost / effort terms for both options?

Hello all! I managed to crack my front bumper and theres a chunk missing from the middle. It's an unusual one so rather than putting on a scarab ot twinz or oem id like a direct replacement which i think ill have to fabricate myself. Anyone know how hard this is to do and where i would get started? Thanks in advance!

Anyone who has done or is going to do the PCV delete and want a bit of bling then just buy 15mm domestic flexi pipes...ideal for any breather pipes around the engine bay and with a small rubber coupling hose to allow a 25mm piece of copper pipe that will fit the olive type fitting its easy to fit too.Looks better than rubber imho:winkiss:

The Advantages of Synthetic Oils over Mineral oils Extended oil drain periods Better wear protection and therefore extended engine life Most synthetics give better MPG They flow better when cold and are more thermally stable when hot Surface-active meaning a thin layer of oil on the surfaces at all times (in ester based oils) How Synthetic oils Achieve these Benefits Stable Basestocks Synthetic oils are designed from pure, uniform synthetic basestocks, they contain no contaminants or unstable molecules which are prone to thermal and oxidative break down. Because of their uniform molecular structure, synthetic lubricants operate with le…
