  1. Started by Raja93,

Morning all, when removing the interior door card to my drivers door, I dropped the screw which affixes the top interior door trim panel to the door. My car is a 93 model so seatbelt is not on the door. See attached pictures of the panel I’m referring to and one also of the passenger door with the screw still there. I’m aware you can probably source these screws from CZP or Z1 but does anyone know the spec of the screw at all? So I could maybe source it in the uk somewhere. Thanks! Trying to replace these is a nightmare. Just wondering if anyone knows if you can get a CV joint from another car that would fit ours?

Need a new oil cooler. Where is best to get on ?

  4. Started by Peage,

I have an OEM replica 89 spec spoiler fitted and I recently had it resprayed together with my rear hatch and the body shop said the 3rd brake light must never have worked as they can't find a connector for it. I am due to collect the car tomorrow but does anyone know if splicing needs to be done to make the 3rd brake light work? If so, where would be the best place to do that or is there a hidden connector somewhere?

  5. Started by Chris,

My zeds going in for some paint next week, both bumpers and a few minor things here and there. But also the rear hatch is getting looked at as there is a tiny bubble in one of the bottom corners. So the rear window is coming out, bit nervous as it's blue tint so hard to replace if it breaks, so fingers crossed! I asked if there was anything I needed to supply for that, and the shop said no....I'm wondering though, whats required to fit the glass back in afterwards? Is there anything I should be thinking about?

Well I'm finally getting my finger out with this with some help with a gentle boot up the ass from the wife lol Question is though as I kinda neglected it for a bit after I had done 80% of the wrap a few of the panels have been scratched or slight damage to the wrap. Should I stay with the purple black iridescent wrap or go down another colour route?

  7. First off sorry for the massive post, it’s been years since I last posted anything, so wanted to be thorough, but it also helped me remind myself of what I've done to date. The weather is improving and I’m hoping for some help to finally get my Zed running. To quickly recap, the best I can from memory – after discovery of serious rot (around 2013 I think), I set about rebuilding my Zed, using a donor. I painted my car myself, and it looked amazing, but a couple months later the paint began crazing and cracking. To this day I still don’t know why this happened. About two years had passed now, I just wanted to get the car running properly so it was driv…

  8. Started by Black-zed,

hi guys, my zircon condenser was detected with a leak a couple of years ago and I have never got round to fixing it, anyhow with time on my hands at the mo I thought it would be quite nice t get it working again. so it turns out Z1 haven't had any of their replacements in stock for a long time, Nissan is NLA on all the part numbers available, and I found Prasco listed them which were made by Ava cooling (there are a couple of car part suppliers showing up in google ads charging £900 for them) so I contacted both Prasco & Ava cooling direct, Prasco have no stock and Ava cooling have advised me they no longer make them. I have a used condenser I bought, but I don'…

Hi all.. just wondering if anyone out there has fitted the CZP or Z1 Akebono big brake kit to their Z? Im having issues with wheel fitment for 18" rims, unfortunately my own 18" are just touching the caliper on the barrel of the wheel so obviously thats a no no.. If anyone out there has fitted these brakes, can you give me the details from your wheel setups? brand, sizes, et etc.. just want to get the brakes on and make sure i buy a set of wheels that fit rather than another set that dont lol.. gets expensive down that road haha anyway, any help or info will be much appreciated cheers!

Hi all, Anyone know a place to get some decent tape for the pinstripe? I've seen some old posts but the links are dead, I tried buying one that said it was 'charcoal/gunmetal' but it's way too bright!

  15. Started by Black-zed,

hi guys, connected my data scan to the car today to check for error codes, and it's showing det sensor as being a problem. Jeff at zed world bypassed mine around 7 years ago and fitted a resistor in the wiring plug. the resistor is still in place, so any ideas what the problem may be? I cleared the code and it came straight back.

Out of curiosity decided to weigh both Zed's, my daily red zed and the black ine that's being prepared for some casual track day fun. Currently it's just the most basic of weight saving but 250kg removed so looking forward to getting this out on track ??

i know you guys dealt with this many times, but im really desperate, spend weeks trying to work it out... so, error code 34 knock sensor problem... my ecu shows 0.568ohm knock sensor shows 0.580ohm so i would assume i need new knock sensor but i bought two (so i have 3 all together, mine old one and two new ones) bought both not from ebay, from proper shops, one for 85£ another for 160£ and both shows freaking 0.560-0580ohm put 1meg ohm resistor like it say in here http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/detonationSensor/detonationSensor.html same code 34 so that is it? thank you Z32 TT 1991 ATM

So I am going to upgrade my suspension (shocks, arms, bushes), I've done some research and found that the TEIN VSN22-C1SS3 FLEX Z seem pretty good and are just in budget. Does anyone have any experience of them? I did look at the street advance Z (cheaper), but they are missing the top hat bit (you reuse the OEM one) and I would rather have all new components and I dont have the tools to be releasing springs off shocks. I've been looking at Driftworks adjustable arms (https://www.driftworks.com/suspension/adjustable-arms/?car_make=nissan&car_model=300zx-z32) and have compiled a list of components using this blog: https://conceptzperformance.com/blog/suspension-10…

This is a bit of an odd one. Last year I has a misfire on one of the cylinders. After pulling the offending coil pack off, testing the voltage and resistance across parts in that area and checking the spark plug everything looked good. I replaced the spark plug, as I couldn’t find an issue, screwed everything back together and all was fine. That was it for the year and the issue didn’t reoccur. The other day, when I pulled the car out for it’s MOT, there was another misfire on a different cylinder. This time I thought that I’d just pull the coil pack and pop it back in. Bingo, it cured the misfire. Today I pulled the car out and the misfire was back but on …
