My 300 has always understeered but it is becoming worse now. Replaced tyres already, running 245/35xZR18. My next thought is to stiffen the front suspension with harder/adjustable shocks (Koni?) or to add a front strut brace. Anyone got any thoughts on this as to the best way forward. ------------------ "Polished on drive" "Dirty at 156mph" --------------- Z first and anything else is secondary and live life a quarter mile at a time! I have just taken the car for its first MOT. Apart from lots of damage to exhaust and chassis due to bottoming out all was fine except the two small metal brake pipes on the rear which join the flexible pipe to the caliper on both sides which apparently are badly corroded. I have just given Nissan a ring and have been told that these pipes are not available as a part and are usually made up to order. I asked them if they could make me up a pair and was told that I would need to bring the car in…etc…etc….big money. I know a lot of you have done brake upgrades and I am hoping that someone still has these pipes to sell. Or is any one in a position to make me up a pair. …

I just tracked one down in stock and at an amazing price. http://www.extremeredline.com It says reduced from $149.95 to $129.95 on their site but I sent them a mail to ask how much for delivery to the UK and they quoted $109.00 plus $12.00 shipping! Thats £81.08 according to the exchange rate calculator on Yahoo. They are usually about £150 here!

This is why I was asking for all that data a while back. I still need detailed turbo information. If I had enough data, I could do a run with a modified turbo too. Does anyone have these figures??? Regards Robert. ------------------ I only use the brakes so I can accelerate all over again.

Hi chaps, Made a few enquiries today concerning auto box coolers, with reference to Jap spec not having as much cooling as a UK spec car (ie only one side of the rad header rather than both sides as per UK car) Speaking with a normal rad company they seem to think any 16, 19 or 25 row cooler of 1/2" bore dependant on space will do.He went on to say that MG midgets use a 16 row that is freely available for around £40! sound good so far? Add a bit of piping and delete the existing rad connections (may help the engine temp also)surely £50 will do it.Now if so I am defo going to do it and will take some photo`s if anyone interested? the guy I spoke to was at a rad…
