Hi guys, found your website just in time!! I am on the market for a Z, auto, twin turbo, targa top. I was just wondering if you guys could give me any help with regards to what I should be looking out for when purchasing one. You know, any little tell tale signs that I shouldn't purchase this car, or help knock the price down some more etc etc

Just when I thought I was the only Zed owner in Reading, I followed a Grey Import Reg G***SGN, non standard exhaust and alloys, looked as though one of the windows was damaged too. I was behind you in the Black 300 going out of Reading, you pulled into a local shop. Anyone here ? Herman

Have had new uprated turbos fitted and re-buiobuild etc etc. Have finished running in. The car is flying............ However, when at say 4500 revs...motorway driving and floor it I get a rattling type noise possibly comming from top end of engine. (Cant be sure at 120+ mph) Could it be under fueling? and is this detonation? Way ahead? Many thanks Its good to be back on the forum again.

A while ago someone here said they got cheap insurance from Firebond. Said they got Classic car insurance on the Z. I just went online for a Quote £2366.74!!! What's going on? I told them I only did a maximum of 5000 miles a year. 6 years no claims, but came clean about two incidents that weren't my fault(my car was parked at the time) and didn't lose my no claims. ------------------

G'day, I'm probably looking at selling my Japanese Mine's ECU (Z32 TwinTurbo Automatic), either as the entire unit with the Mine's plaque on it and all (will quote the Mine's number later on), or maybe just the EPROM (not my favourite option, since the EPROM and the entire board is secured with epoxy resin. Pretty sure that the unit is called a Mine's VX-ROM (their site in Japanese is: http://www.mines-wave.com/) I'm changing over my computer control to one that's done here in Australia, and know that quite a few of you UK guys use the Mine's versions. Anyway, we'd have to work out the postage type options, and I'm willing to listen to any reasonable offers, to se…

Coming home from footy tonight, my power steering seemed to 'switch off'. I had just overtaken some vroom vrooms (the chaps face as I cruised past his Omega V6, was a treat). As I did a sharp right, the steering was heavy and was for the rest of the journey. I tried it after 5min and it seemed to be OK! Any suggestions?

  15. As some of you may know my z had a bodykit and complete respray done last Novemeber. The problem I have is that the paint seems to be chipping off "too" easily. I have done about 2 - 2.5k since November and am pretty sure this shouldn't have happened so soon. The picture of the twin scoops was taken about a month or so ago and since then has chipped even more. The last picture is of where the rear windscreen meets the bodywork in the bottom corner on the passanger side. I don't think it will be too long before the paint just falls off. My main question is to anyone (including Simon H) who has ha…

THE NEXT TIME YOU THINK YOU ARE HAVING A BAD DAY Fire authorities in California found a corpse in a burned out section of forest while assessing the damage done by a forestfire. The deceased male was dressed in a full wet suit, complete with scuba tanks on his back, flippers, and face mask. A post-mortem revealed that the person died not from burns, but from massive internal injuries. Dental records provided a positive identification. Investigators then set about to determine how a fully clad diver ended up in the middle of a forest fire. It was revealed that on the day of the fire, the person went for a diving trip off the coast some 20 mi…
