If your temp sensor is dogdey enough to temp make your car run lumpy for a miute whilst just warming up. Then would this be enough to put your car into safety mode . And if yes then when would safety go of ? When you next turned your car off for a while. And if you car went into safety mode how would you know apart from a slower car? Just woundered.

Hi, I'm having no luck with spurious parts and long delivery time frames from the local Nissan dealers in Ireland. I've got a '95 JDM spec Fairlady, that I need a upper suspension arm bushing on the front left side and front bushings on both front trailing arms. Has anybody any suggestions, where I can get these parts ? I need these to get the car tested. /M

what would be causing this. its like the diff has no oil? is the diff fecked or just needs an oil change. Just converted from auto to manual on the na lwb with a one piece prop. cant believe this is horrible to drive after all the attention and money lavashed on it this past 3 months. The joys of the older cars. its just horrible to drive as stated with a vibration/ whinning from the drive train. I would presume the prop is balanced correctly as it was never on a car .

Be interesting to see what that car actually sells for, but still looks to be a nice Euro spec: http://home.standvirtual.com/classicos-colecoparticular_visualizar_7749576_carros.html

  7. My VIN plate is starting to look rather aged - I am looking around to see whether anyone has had a new one made up? Can Nissan supply these? In addition, I have come across this : http://www.vin-plate.co.uk/custom_vin_plates.html Anyone have any experiences with this type of thing?

Do these exist? Looked at ebay and a few Nissan sites and none are coming up. they come up in the usa diagrams as oem parts. Ive just got the car back from the bodyshop and he says to make sure to get rears to protect the bumper as its going to get a lot of crap flung at it. thanks guys

I might have the opportunity to obtain myself a 300zx over the next week, I understand you need a de-registration certificate from when it left japan only problem is i don't believe the guy selling has one, I've seen sites offering duplicate certificates for around £150 but then this also could be a scam, what else would I need ?

Z32 vg30dett On my zed I have an after market stainless exhaust with the oval back boxes. On the downpipes there is a tube welded on each, approx 1/2" in diameter, which has been capped off with a piece of hose and a spark plug jubileed in place. My question is what are they for and can I just cut them off and tig weld a plate over hole????? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

OK so not made of money and I am a firm believer that if the stock calipers working properly coupled with good discs pads should stop well going to get rebuild kit for all calipers but stuck on discs and pads Been looking at full set grooved discs with mintex m144 racing pads anyone tried these ? What you all got and how do you find there performance ? And any suggestions ? And don't say big brake kit unless your paying

  17. To try and cure the problem of the coolant boiling over As some of you know I bought an alloy rad and a new thermostat and changed the hoses. While all the hoses were off I managed to flush the system through each one of the holes with the front pipes off to check the flow, and it all seemed good. managed to get rid of all the minging brown water too. Got the new rad fitted and bled up ok, but something still didn't seem right. After every test drive with my ear close to the rad cap I could here the coolant bubbling, It was no where near as violent as it was from the old rad, it was shaking the overflow bottle or leaking out onto the road. (the old rad cap…

For ages now, I've been wanting to 'upgrade' as it were to the wiper blades as seen on cars like the Lexus IS250 etc.... ...like this (this isn't mine by the way - not with that wiper arm fitment and tatty scuttle panel! haha I have NEVER liked the Bosch aero wiper blades - that great big knuckle screams 'universal' and isn't what I would call 'sleek and inkeeping'. Well, for those of you that are also as anal as me (probably not too many of you) and want something a little more 'OEM-esque', I came across these. They're called 'hybrid wipers'. http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/search/?keyword=hybrid They have the cover on them making them l…

This is most probably in the wrong place but I may as well ask around, seeing as my car's gearbox seems to be working well, and ive spent loads on the engine , I want to spend some money on tidying her up a bit as I seem to have spent loads on the mechanical side if things, I need a decent set of black leather front seats, no rips no wear, a good stereo set up including speakers as mine are crap. I would also like some metal intercooler pipes rather than the blue ripspeed ones I currently have, and anything else that anyone can think of to make her look smart, ive spent so much recently I intend to keep her. let me know what u guys have and prices and i'l…
