When I went to Billing I saw several cars with Chrome/stainless wheel rims trims, mostly on OZ wheels I think, anyone know where to get them from as my wifes 18" OZ wheels need tiding on the rims.

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the urgency of my request. I've been looking to buy a Z for some time now, I've just this week been to see one that I'm very interested in buying, but there are a couple of issues I'd like to ask here about before I make up my mind. The car in question is a 93 manual TT, just imported. It has been had the addition of an HKS single exhaust, HKS induction kit and HKS blow-off valves. 42k miles. Asking £5300. I took it for a test drive on Monday, and was impressed enough to ask for a second viewing (today), taking a friend of mine who is rather an excellent mechanic, although he has no experience of Z32s (he had plenty of exp…

My bush remover has a nut + bolt which pulls the bush out and into a cylinder, the bolt running through the bush, but with the balljoint there this is not possible to do. Ive undone the rear shocker for more access and tried a 2 legged tool but the surronding metal arround the bush aint in to good a nick. any special tools needed ???? any help or advice appreciated. Cheers Andy tt.

Just put my new AFM / MAS on. My old one had pins/spades on B, C, D & E......A & F were blanked off. The new one I've just put on had spades on A, B, C, D, E, and F blanked off. The female plug (attached to the car) had the female spades for all 5 of my new one. Anyone got any idea's to the difference. Hope I've explained it well enough.....can't find my bloody dig camera at the moment! Cheers.

Trying to set up the boost and fuelling on my Z yesterday and kept coming up against intermittent fuelling probs and an inability to run much more than 1.2bar. Anyway the garage reckon its the 'coolers so on Friday were gonna modify the front bumper to improve the airflow through them....... As an aside, I went out last night after dark, when the temperature had dropped, and everything was fine at 1.3 bar - I could probably gone higher, but I didnt wanna lean out.... So what do you guys think?

Hi, Just been looking at Mac1's spec and notice he has dump valves. I didn't realise you could put dump valves on an automatic. If you can is there much modification required and what are the advantages and disadvantages if any?? Zedhot.

It appears as though my drivers seat does not go as far back as the passenger seat...being over 6ft tall this poses a bit of a problem. Looking (and listening) a little more closely it seems as though something is stopping it going back further...has anyone else had similar problems with electric seats? Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi there, Been thinking of buying a jap import ZX either turbo or non turbo. Am I going to be buying a big expense and a gas guzzler? The car will be on a 90/G or later and around the £5k mark. I don't want to buy a car and have to mod it to keep it going apart from alarm immobiliser etc. Any views would be a great help. Thanks :)

Those damned wipers!! I have been trying to get them off for weeks so I can repaint the scuttles. I even made an extractor out of 'C' section steel, about 2.5mm thick steel, with a 5/16" bolt. The 'C' section just started to open up. After taking the plastic cap and the nut off, the threaded rod is bright nickel finish, so I doubt the splines are rusted. Any suggestions ? Cheers John

Does anybody Know anything about changing the stock fuel filters to inline Bosh filters ?as i was told by this Japonese guy that the stock filters have a certain amount of gravetational pull where as inline filters are much more responsive having less resistance. He says that on the z this is the first upgrade before anything else.
