Does anyone know anything about this? How much does it cost and -apart from being as cool as hell, what are then advantages to having it?

Guys does anyone know where the antena for the keyless entry is, is it part of the radio antena or is it in the windshield. My remote used to work from far away now you have to be right beside the car for it to work. I replaced the battery in the remote with a new one but it didnt help

As long as I've had my Zed, I've never noticed the Aux. fan coming on. Whilst going over the engine today I noticed the relay marked as 'sub fan' isn't there(looks like someones taken the relay out). Is this the relay that works the aux fan or are the aux and sub 2 different things?? Hope this makes sense... :confused: Malibu

My series 1 TT has been diagnosed with a dodgy ignition amp. To make sure I order the correct part, is this also known as the PTU?:confused: Also where's the best place to get one? Courtesy Nissan do them for US$180, but can anyone here (Nissan aside - they are too expensive) supply them quickly & reasonably? Thanks!

is there any way of telling wether an ecu is for a manual car or an automatic by visually looking at it?

i have just put in an uprated mines ecu into my zed and it ran like a sack of s##t so i took it out and replaced it with old one and it still ran very poor. is there something im doing wrong? ive just basically put it in as plug and play

I know this is not the right place to advertise, but I am having to break my 1989 jap auto import. All Parts are available. Also have a reconditioned manual gearbox. Was going to convert but never got round to it. Also the wheels are aftermarket ones that were on the car when it came from Japan, called Stich have just been reconditioned perfect finish and got brand new goodyear F1's. Sizes are 235 40 17 front and 255 35 17 on the back. If interested in any parts e-mail or call 07818875621. Almost forgot have a polished plenum as well.

Stability is good, when compared with my previous (completely knackered) S-03's Straightline grip in wet seems ok, but lateral traction is rubbish - slides all over the place when you least expect it and very sensitive to different road surfaces. My shagged S-03's had more grip in the wet ... Seem quieter from a road noise perspective though.

Driving home from billing last night in the wet was "interesting" Didnt help that was running conzult at the time and was trying to get as broad a spectrum of responses as I could, flat out acceleration in the pissing rain is not a good thing:) So, traction control, couple of Q's Is Race logic the only one on the market? Will it work with NOS? As far as I am aware it works by cutting fuel pulses, would that leave me with nos flowing? I know you shouldnt be using Nos in any situation that you need traction control, but things happen. And was thinking more of the launch control, would it bugger up a progressive nos controller? Any help?

Its hard to tell cause its so loud, but after 4 hours in a traffic jam yesterday im sure it sounds a bit like air escaping! Does anyone know if its possible to weld exhausts ? Im not clued up about zorsts at all! The last thing i want is to have to buy another one! Regards - Mike

Hi Guys I only had a Z for a couple of months before selling it to CJ (then broke it beyond repair!!) But a change in my situation means sod it i'm having another:p I got my last one off ebay and it was a cracker, i did take someone with me to have a look over the car but looking back i think it was a bit of a risk knowing what i know now. Ok before I start, the club looks superb, I've had a good browse and the cars you guys have are a credit to yourselves! I am currently the owner of a modified Nissan Primera P11 GA16DE and have decided to stop sinking money into a slow car and get something beefy. After much thinking, I have set my heart on a 300zx twin turbo targa top. What I am asking is anything I should heartily steer clear of. I can't imagine driving an automatic but I know that the turbos spin constantly through the gears and therefore this is the better option. I have an import that has been uk resident for about 2 years. I have 2 previous MOT certificates from the previous owner, but... it has no front or rear fog lights. Now I've read a bit about various ways to fit fogs, but how can it be that this car has passed 2 uk MOT tests without them? - Is it a matter of interpretation or do I really have to get some fitted?

I've just paid a deposit on some new alloys (needs must) - but I hadn't realised what a minefield the whole topic was - especially as I'd like to think I could squeeze some skyline brakes behind these at some point in the future. I've ended up going for some 17" Kosei Double Racers, which are double 6 spoke affairs, but I'm really not sure how they're going to look on the car. I don't suppose anyone has these already and can send me a pickki? I also liked the OZ superleggeras, but they were £300 more, so that was the end of that then! Hi folks Hopefully someone out there can help me with some of the minor problems my just purchased 1985 300ZX has. Nothing major - and she is an absolute joy. Star Wars dash - Targa top and in showroom body condition - a steal at AUD5990.00 so I am not worried about spending a few bucks on her. #1. Fuel display - Fuel gauge was indicating 2/3 full when I collected it - dropped one bar and then the low fuel light came on. There was only 20 litres in the tank when I filled it. Sender unit in fuel tank faulty? #2. Oil Pressure display - gauge is obviously working as it heads to the top on startup and then drops to and stays on zero. Sender unit need replacing…

Had my new Zed a week (1989 TT Auto import) and started to notice hot water pissing out from under the car everytime I've stopped driving. I am not loosing any water from the Rad and I've been driving the car daily with no sign of overheating..........until today. Was driving it alot harder today and when I got home my temp gauge was creeping up past the half-way mark and i saw steam coming from the bonnet. Looked underneath and sure enough, steaming water everywhere so looked under the bonnet and could see steam coming from the front of the engine (I think) behind the fan rather than from the Rad. What shall I do? Is it worth me dumping the Rad and renewing the water/coo…

on the standard boost gauge, when your booting it is the needle supposed to go right to the +7 or just before it? how do you know youre in saftey boost if youve never driven a zed before and the cars been the same since you bought it from japan?? Thanks all JIM.
