Hi Peeps, Got my car back from PPS yesterday and had no problems with the car. It needed a jump start but after 300 miles the battery was fully charged :D. This morning it doesn't want to start. It turns over fine but just doesn't fire. ConZult Error shows all clear (55). I'm in the process of stripping the coil packs down to check the plugs. Any other ideas of things I can try if I don't find anything ?

Hi, Has anyone removed their orignal plastic accelerator pedal? If so how do you get the bloody thing off?? I've been trying with no luck and I can't get my big fooking head in the footwell enough to see what's going on. :mad: Cheers Guy

hi folks, time to treat zed to new rubber and alloys BUT I just have no idea what I need. Have looked at all sites, but just dont get all this offset/pcd stuff???? At the mo i have split rim 'linear sport' wheels, which are past the point of rescue, as they are genuine split rims with gasket etc, no refurbishment company wanna know - or if they do, quoting 5-600 sheets - wtf?? Outside is chrome and 5 spokes are alloy - and therin lies the problem. I have p zero 235-45-17 front and p zero 255-40-17 rears. Cannot nor wish to go to 18, so could anyone be kind enough to let me know what they are running on - i.e all the silly figures needed to order them ****girl…

need to get a new locking mechanism for my glove compartement. i`ve seen one on courtsey nissan website but is there anyway i can get one in the UK. preferably, a cheap one. cheers

Thought id fix my squeaky brake today before billing next weekend, thing is when putting calliper back on i managed to kill the thread on the brake hose, so now ive got to change that, but to add to my problems, i tried to take the hose off and managed to round the nut off, so now i need to know where this pipe goes once it dissapears behind the wing (arrow in pic), and also any tips on how to free a very round bolt would be good. Cheers:( 6 days to billing, and im worried at the rate i work it will never be done!!! Also, if anyones got a brake hose lying about, they want to flog so i can fit it Sunday (nelsons closed:mad: ) i'd be greatful

Having just finished fitting my SBC ID & Power meter id I have hit a problem, the set up and operation instruction are all in Japanese!! any one know to a link to download or view set up instruction for both of these as yet they look erm nice but do not a fat deal..at all? Jefff TT

Just got a secondhand rad from AndyZ so I can get my Zed moveable. But the rad I got from Andy is different slightly: Here is the one from Andy - you can see the AT Cooler pipes on the left. This is my old one: As you can see it has a set of AT Cooler pipes on both sides. Close up. The manual has a pic of the type like I got from Andy: So, anyone know why the difference? And would it matter? Oh, also there doesnt seem to be any cracks of splits on my old one, Anybody have an idea where I can get the rad tested in SE London? I'm trying to work out why my cruise cont dosent work, (never has). I am tryin the diagnostics as described in the manual on page EL-104 and where i'm supposed to be testing for volts, the plug shown in the drawing is an 16 pin effort, the one on mine is a 20 pin. anyone know why? are jap and uk different? as the plugs are different i cant be sure im trying the right pins

anyone know what them parts are that sit behind the front wheel wellbehind the plastic cover ,they hav a pipe goin in to them from the exhaust. as i am taking the cats off would this setup be needed or can i do away with it all.

Guys Need your kind assistance once again. Was supposed to collect the Zed today after having new turbo's and other bits done. Just got a call from the mechanic informing me there's a problem :( He told me that somehow, water is getting in to the oil sump, resulting in white sludge on the dip stick and white smoke from the exhaust. He's checked the hoses, done a water pressure test and all is fine. Told me not to worry and he will investigate further on Monday. Whilst I do have faith in him, I am worried! He also said there may be a problem with the new turbo's but wanted to eliminate other possibilities before tackling the labourous turbo's. Does anyone ha…

Went to check my air filter to see if it needed replacement, it turned out to be a K & N 'Cone' type filter. Does this type ever need replacement ? or do you clean them, if so, how ? Would I be better off with the stock filter ? Thanks John

Help needed please! Just finished fitting a set of 550cc injectors and a jwt ecu for them. Trouble is the ecu seems to be chucking out too much fuel. Firsty of all she ran but like cr@p. Next she seems to lock up, this started getting me worried - did I drop a bolt somewhere in the engine? Next she just would not turn over.Bt after a bit of investigating I have realised that if I remove the fuel pump fuse she'll turn over fine obviously not sparking, so my conclusion is it must be flooding so much that the engine is locking. Feasable? Does the timing on the cas need setting up any different to what it was before because she don't want to go! :(

Hello, My zed has been up and running over the past week new clutch and flywheel and is running well. Well apart from when I turn the inginition barrell and remove the key the engine keeps running. Yes I have a turbo timer but when it switches off the electrics all die but the engine is still running ? Any ideas appreciated ?

Howdy-dudeys! I've got a short-wheelbase TT and am thinking that it would be rather nice to release those extra horses tied up in the cats! My question is, who out there has done this? Have you had any problems, e.g. with emissions in the m.o.t.? Is this a simple enough operation that any, ahh...hem, monkey exhaust outlet can do, or is it best to take it to someone who has experience with this kinda thing? Cheers! P.s. suppose this should be in the wanted section, but is needed because someone needs HELP, so therfore it should be in here too. Anyways, ADAMR needs an ecu , his is duff and as he doesnt have access to this place till he gets to work tomorrow i'll put this post up to start the ball rolling. Basically he's after a manual ecu from a g/h (cant remember which)reg twin tubo. Anyone got one lying around. OH by the way his car is black so obviously it will be the slower version of the ecu that hes after.

I went to test the tps today ( had probs with hesitating) I couldnt get the reading I while car was running or not with my volt meter, so i marked it up and moved it. AAARRRRRR when i put it back to the place where it was it idles at 2000 rpm and the only way i can get it down is to swivel it totaly the other way. Is it knackerd or am I not doing it wright? hi. i am thinking of getting some parts from courtsey nissan as they are very cheap. do i need to worry about any other costs? i have never bought anything from abroad and have heard about all the ridiculous taxes that may be put on to purchases. could someone give me more info on what to look out for and possible charges etc. cheers rav p.s. if i didnt to for a sh!t behind closed doors and with the light off i wouldnt be suprised if i got taxed for everything that came out of my arse.
