Rear seatbelts needed!

Help! Ive just bought an early import 1990 ZX and it has lap belts in the back. My ex-wife has decided she won't let the kids go in it unless I fit 3-point shoulder belts!

Is this possible? Are there places in the UK that would fit them for me?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Mythix.

Yes, it's easy enough.

First you have to find a set of uk spec belts from a breaker. Try Andy Z to start with (that's where I got mine).

Then you have to strip oiut all the rear seat interior to find the fixings, which are there - despite what all the uk Nissan dealers I spoke to will tell you. Even Nissan head office told me there was no fixing on the import car, but that was total boll*cks!

I got a local garage that I know to do it all for me and it cost about £100.

I had the same fiasco trying to find a car seat, but eventually bought one in Halfords that works fine, so now my 2 year old gets a lift in the 'Noisy car' every morning!

Mine off my UK are in my garage - but I may need to hand them to the person who buys the car off me.

Thanks chaps for giving me a starting point. Now all I need to do is learn to stop shrieking like a girl when I accelerate and I think i'll have it sorted!!!! :)

cheers,
