Just a quick note check out the pic attached it is of the line pressure solenoid DROP RESISTER for the auto gearbox and it located high in the nearside wheel arch. If you are suffering hard shock gear changes and or loss of drive at high speed then check the resistance of the afore mentioned should be around the 10 to 14 ohms range, If as I found on one the other day it was open circuit, nothing else but to change it and in my case this restored smooth gear changes, this possibly makes an auto box look like it is in need of a rebuild when clearly it does not. Just thought it may help someone else. Jeff

Hi, Just need to verify a few things as I need to check my compression. I've looked at the write up on TT.net - http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/compression.html and I've got a couple of question: 1. On the instuctions (with the compression tester) it says to remove one plug at a time, then replace, then go on to the next one but on TT.net instructions it says to remove all the plugs - which one is right? 2. Does it matter if the balance bar is attached or not? Cheers Vijay

I just want to check this one out. When the air condition is I get dripping water underneath the car. I remember having the same in a Jag. Is it simply condensation as I think it is? Geoff.

I am thinking of ordering a centre prop shaft bearing from Courtesy. Is there a difference between the USA one and my Jap one. Do they always come mounted in the housing, or is it possible they have quoted me just on a bearing ? Cheers John

Hi to all ... I haven't had my Z very long and have learned so much about the car already however I have a TBAC III boost controller fitted. I have disconnected the controller as I don't understand how it works. I have looked on the web thoroughly for any kinda instructions but with no joy. It isn't like the new digital controllers which are dead esy to work out so if anyone out there knows how to use one of these bad boys it would be great to have some feedback. I could of course get another controller (new one) however why go to all that expense when I have one that works already. Any Ideas? .. recommendations? Cheers Chris

I've tried on numerous occassions to get in touch to order some clear side repeaters for my 300 and can never get an answer. I've also had no reply via email. Is it still open or does someone know otherwise? Is there anywhere else where I can get clear side repeaters from?

I need a pair of wastegate actuators for the T28 hybrids I'm fitting. Where can I get them quick and what pressure should they work at to give something similar to safety boost when my controller is switched off? How do they work? Do they open progressively or just snap fully open at a preset pressure?

Can anyone tell me which pin on the back of the speedo is the feed for the speed signal. I'm trying to do a speedo conversion you see. I have one wiring diagram, but it appears to be for a different type of speedo. I've noticed before that there appears to be 2 different types of speedo for the Z32. Perhaps one is for series one and one is for series 2. The one I'm trying to the conversion for is a 1990. Any help appreciated. Thanks AndyZ

Hi peeps, Have done searches already but can't find the answer. Aplogies in advance.:o I have a Helix fast road clutch which essentially is a standard Nissan disc with heavier cover thingy. I have found that if I start 'n' stop in a lot of traffic the bite point of the clutch is almost at the floor prolly an inch off :( After some normal driving the clutch point returns to a more acceptable position. SE have now bled the system but I feel it is still there. The bite point is a few inches off the floor at a guess. Theres a few inches of slack when applying the pedal from top then it starts to feel stiff (ooh errr missus!!) Some threads sug…

Hi all, just thought id let you know how my car is going. I posted a question a couple of weeks ago about a sticky gear shift ona zx tt manual I had just bought, also my radiator had sprung a leak and I was getting disheartened. Well the radiator is fixed, my sticky gearshift doesn't affect me as much now due to bigger biceps from using it and the car is running well. Also I didn't realise that my single exit exhaust had whats called a baffle fixed in it, a friend knew a bit more than me and as soon as he saw the large exhaust with a small outlet he quickly grabbed a spanner and pulled out a baffle about a foot and a half long from my exhaust. I thought it was loud before…
