Hi All, Smoke has been coming out from the middle of the car, as after a drive I open my door and see smoke coming from the bottom of the car. Could it be my catalytic converters? If so how much to replace them, or can I get some thing to replace the middle pipes? Thanks, Alastair.

In my continuing effort to make my t-tops watertight, I have got some silicone grease down in the drain hole of the metal gutter in the t-top opening. Its not completely blocked, it does drain, but not fast enough. I am thinking that compressed air will just blast a path in the centre, and leave the silicone grease around the outer circumference. Does anyone know if there is anything that dissolves silicone that I could pour down ? Or anyone have any suggestions? Thanks John

hi everyone my problem is i only have one ignition key so if i lost it i,d be up the creek so where could i get another 1, my cars an import so i don,t think i,d be able to get 1 from a dealership over here not unless they,d send for one from japan maybe..so could i get 1 cut perhaps any ideas anyone cully z

Well finally after 2 months the insurance company has wrote back and told me my beloved Z is to be a write off and have offered me £4570 minus the £550 excess. Is this a good price because they sent me the cheque straight away without even agreeing it with me. Would really love to withdraw it and fix myself but haven't really got time, and also they won't even let me buy it back from them, it will go to auction, is this right? I want it back, I miss it. :cry:

hi, does any one have any ideas of how to jack up my car its about 2 inchs of the floor ???? i could do with a slim line jack if they are availible.....ive tried the air bag jack ,its crap. i thought o the formula 1 jacks where they lift the car in one go not high but high enough to get a normal jack under.....>...it could raise it but ,no!

Any ideas what could be wrong now?? My car has just had a new clutch fitted, a standard Nissan one, now when im driving at about sixty miles an hour in fith I get a strange vibration, you can drive through it which made me think it was the wheels need balancing. But!!! If I put it in fourth and do the same speed, nothing?!? Smooth as a newly shaved babies arse, which believe me is pretty bloody smooth. Has anyone come across this before, could it be anything to do with the new clutch? Advise always greatly received.

I am looking for a front splashguard. Its a grey piece of plastic about 2.5 x 1 foot that connects under front bumber back to under end of air filter section. I have the diagram attached and since I cant seem to get one secondhand I am wondering can anyone tell me which part i actually need as I have to buy new from Nissan . The diagram dosent seem to be to scale for the part I am looking for I think its either of the Circled Part#'s can anyone confirm Thanks Roy

i have a uk TT i have just purchased a turbo timer and wiring harness the harness wont fit into my ignition swich. I am trying to plug it in onto the ignition barrel, is this right? or do i have to follow the wires right back? cannot understant cos chris at greddy says theres never been a problem with fitament before?

just order a Helix organic clutch for my tt this cost £350 . Is this a good price or what ? ,been told that it will held the bhp wez :duffer:

My friend has a ZX. It seems to have a rather strange problem. When you start the car cold, the steering when turned, makes a bit of a low whining noise. Also we where driving yesterday and he braked quite sharply and the car made rather a loud clicking sound towards the end. Also as he dropped me off as he was turning away he full locked the steering wheel and it made the same clickin noise that happened when braking sharply!! Cant seem to figure out what it is !!! Any1 have any ideas!!! Fas

help people , i have a set of photo luminescent orange dial fronts (e bay is great ) and i would like to fit them as soon as posible but cant figure out how to get at the gauges without breaking something .........has anybody done this and is there an idiots guide th this somewhere on the site ?? cheerZ people stebbs

Hi Just been thinking (ouch!). when we are talking about Idle in an Auto, is that when the transmission is in 'N', or is it when in 'D'?. I say this because when in 'N' she idles at about 900-1000 Rpm but when in 'D' she idles at about 700 Rpm Applogies for being dense.

Are there any links showing how to remove the fan? (not the a/c fan) Thanks Ch

All, Have found these seem to be in good favour and are excellent value for money - I can get one fitted for £65. :hyper: Anyone tried them or know anyone who had them? Please dont start talking about any other tyre unless its available for the same price (ish) as thats my budget :nono: and I was surprised to find a lot of good reviews on the internet about them. :) Thanks.
