How long do parts from Courtesy take to get here by air ? Do they use the postal service or someone like FedEx or UPSair ? Thanks John

Is this the intake manifold bit? or Is it the big aluminuim thingy on the top! of the engine? is this the same bit? Do they polish up? Cos Ive got a spare one of these thingys & if it polishes up it would look nice! Arthur

can somebody with the wide bodykit and fuel tank extension tell me if the fuel tank is still pressureised?? i dont get any hisss when the fuel cap comes off and dont know if thats cause of the bodykit or whether the fuel pressuriser on the engine is buggered

Hi guys, I'm new to Zeds and just wondered if you could help me out... When starting the engine from cold (or after leaving it for an hour or so) I get a quite loud clicking/knocking sound coming from the passenger side of the engine. It is in time with the engine revs ( I press the accelerator and it gets faster), it also seems to be louder when the car is moving. The sound lasts for about 4-5mins (until the engine has warmed up I presume). Another thing that may or may not be related is that I get a strange whining sound from the gearbox for about the same amount of time too but this was there a few weeks before the knocking sound appeared. Yes this seems common. Done away with the cats and now has smoke from the left zorst intermittantly on idle. Could the PVC be the problem? I've seem a lot of posts about them. If worst case, Where's the best place to have my tubs reconed? Full symptoms: - Does it more when cold, only on idle, no smoke at all when moving? Only from the passanger side, drivers fine other than usual steam type. Sometimes its fine once warm. When it does smoke, hold the revs at 2k and it stops. Smoke as soon as the engine was started after new zorst. Zorst fitted Friday now Monday. Help? :cry:

The stock induction system seems OK but what do you buy that will give you an excellent sound alligned with increased BHP? Budget of £300. :confused:

hey guys! took my engine out sat to fit new tubs etc. :dance: found my engine mounts are shot, does any one do good upgrades for these or am i better off getting new standard ones??? :hyper:

This is the radio end of the wiring loom for my Pioneer cd player. What I want to know is, is this the puka connector, or is it an aftermarket one. The main reason for asking is that if it's been added, then they did a proper job. The cars loom is the female side of this one, without any thru-crimps, straight into it, and this side is then straight upto the head units connector. Shame i'm gona rip it all out and put an ISO connector in :D. Anyway, if anyone can answer this, I'm just curious :D Thanks Dave

OK, so been looking at Det again toady. Bear in mind, Thor O2 sensor clearly showed that this was leaning out not timing. This was on both my car and Leigh (Friday's) mine with various maps. So today, replaced FPR with new one (thanks Leigh) and connected up fuel pressure gauge. Result: 3bar with atmospheric on vac line, constant 3bar + boost under load, similar story on Leigh's car. So no pressure problem, but STILL DETTING! Other stuff done - EGR system disabled by removing sol valve. EGR valve works OK as applying vacuum to line when idling does make the engine run like crap. Returns to normal when pressure relased so no sticking. Possibility that val…

I'm new to the forums (::Bows: 1992 2+0 300zx Black TT (Automatic) Miles: 48,000 I took my car for a regular inspections and emissions test at tunex. They say the car is running fine. I drive the car regularly and only boost about twice really hard and feel the turbos kick in but not too powerful. But I always saw that the guage was in negative 9 psi dipping to about negative 4 psi. Oil pressure usually around 30-45 psi. I figure some sort of leak. 2 Weeks later I take the car into Nissan for a full tuneup. Nissan does a compression test and says that everything is fine, but I have a possible vacuum leak and that I may have electrical problems be…

Anyone have any ideas? When im coming to a halt there's a clicking creaking noise from the O/S front wheel area, when brakes are pressed. Only happens going forwards and only when the cars warmed up a bit. Had it on a 4poster lift today and all the joints are sound - no play . Brake pads are half worn - loads of meat left. Anyone had the same prob? Cheers

Evening All Just brought a type 2 PTU back from the USA from Courtesy Nissan, (for £104 all in :-). Is it a direct replacement for a type 1? Is it the same sub harness? (Which has 4 plugs on it...) Thanks!
