The wife said ' here- what's that- one of yours?' as a G reg grey z went round the roundabout at Sainsbury's Leamington about 4.30 today. I COULD have been sitting in mine, but because my son was there too it was a blue Fiesta :( Anyway- first z I've actually seen driving in Leamington.

Silver Zed spotted M56 yesterday morning near Altrincham, about 11:30. Blacked windows, but looked pretty standard. Anyone?

Through reading the threads it apears I have det troubles, I let the car warm up for around five mins or so before cuming on boost, it will run full boost for around 20min caining it, then drop to around 6-7psi I have no diagnostic gear to test with, any ideas what to check for or if any 1 in the south east would mind lending a hand :cry: The engine has only been fitted around 7months its had a new det sencor fitted, but not 02 sencors. I have just disconected the battery going to try that! it also has a bad tappet was woundering if this may trigger it???????

Im after a part number for the two hoses that go to and from the heater matrix, behined the engine - that go through the bulk head! Its a N/A J-Spec (if it matters ?!?) Anyone know where i can get one ? Thanks for any help :rolleyes:

On the M1 north at the M6 junction, has red instead of orange rear indicators, wasnt spotted by me, my mte on his way up from Luton phoned me to see if it was anyone I know!!!

:hyper: I was just wondering what the top speed is that people have had out of their zx's I met a bloke at Doncaster who told me he'd had 170mph and i was abit scepticle so couldn't resist trying my car on an open straight. I managed 173mph but had to slow down as an upcoming roundabout was rapidly getting closer! So what top speed have u had? :bow:

Have recently done the jap h'lamp mod listed on this forum (extra wire to light casing). Used 100w H3 bulbs. Worked fine for 2weeks, although it did drain the battery, tickover went down to 600-700 rpm when the lights were on. The passenger side light has packed up, still works on high beam, no low beam. The bulb is fine, even tried another one just in case. Have checked fuses.....all fine! Anyone got any ideas what it could be? :confused:

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has the wiring instructions for a Protech KM1 KPH - MPH converter? My one has packed in and I'd like to try rewiring it before I throw it in the bin.

Hi all Saw a black ZX with blacked out side windows in Aylesbury today, last letters of reg plate .....JLE (IIRC ;) ) Is was coming out of the road near Camden Motors Nissan/Renault around 13.30 - 14.00 this afternoon. Does any one else have this problem, my car is fine on flat smooth roads, but when I drive around localy with uneven road surfaces my back end seems a bit wobbley, I don't know, it kind of feels as if it moves slightly to one side rather than go straight over the bumps???? I remember someone on about it before but I can't remember what was said! Cheerz.

Hi All, I have decided to get shot of my current nissan and buy something else and I will very soon have 3k to buy another car as quick as possible as nobody likes being without a car! I had been looking at things like punto gt turbos etc but then my thoughts have returned to the real object of my desires, the 300zx. There seems to be a lot out there for around this money but what I am asking the experts here is am I wasting my money? I want the excitement that the 300zx will no doubt bring but once I buy it, I can't afford to be replacing turbos and expensive parts all the time. I understand that it will be around the H reg area for that money so faults are inev…

I have recently got my first Zed which I imported myself. The importers took care of all my UK conversions which are all fine other than the way they have done the speedo. They have installed a "little electronic box" as they put it to recalibrate the speedo to MPH. THye have also instead of putting stickers over the speedo, have just blacked out the "K" in the KMH so it reads "MH" instead. This all seemed fine untill I noticed that the mileometer is now running up in miles instead of Kilometers. This all makes it a bit strange when trying to explain how many miles the car has done come the time when I sell it. Anyone else had there speedo converte…

FPR and Damper part numbers, apparently I need these for servicing, I have no idea what they are or what they do. Can anyone help with the part numbers for a UK car? Cheers in advance.

One of my headlights mists up. I've taken a bulb out and dried it with a hair drier, taking care it's a dry day etc etc etc. But sooner or later it mists up again. Should I be trying to seal it up better or make holes so it can 'breath'? Any idea how to do either of those? Or any other suggestions? I've done lots of searches and still don't know. :(
