Hi all Saw a black ZX with blacked out side windows in Aylesbury today, last letters of reg plate .....JLE (IIRC ;) ) Is was coming out of the road near Camden Motors Nissan/Renault around 13.30 - 14.00 this afternoon. Anyone? I left my Zed at home this morning.....too much snow around my village 1st thing :nono: Richard :tongue:

Spotted black import NA (well no IC ducts anyway ;) ) going North on A1 yesterday around Grantham on A1 at 1.00pm ish. Anyway, if it was you, your offside headlight is blown :nono: ;) # HTH :rolleyes: Stuart

Does any one else have this problem, my car is fine on flat smooth roads, but when I drive around localy with uneven road surfaces my back end seems a bit wobbley, I don't know, it kind of feels as if it moves slightly to one side rather than go straight over the bumps???? I remember someone on about it before but I can't remember what was said! Cheerz.

Hi All, I have decided to get shot of my current nissan and buy something else and I will very soon have 3k to buy another car as quick as possible as nobody likes being without a car! I had been looking at things like punto gt turbos etc but then my thoughts have returned to the real object of my desires, the 300zx. There seems to be a lot out there for around this money but what I am asking the experts here is am I wasting my money? I want the excitement that the 300zx will no doubt bring but once I buy it, I can't afford to be replacing turbos and expensive parts all the time. I understand that it will be around the H reg area for that money so faults are inev…

I have recently got my first Zed which I imported myself. The importers took care of all my UK conversions which are all fine other than the way they have done the speedo. They have installed a "little electronic box" as they put it to recalibrate the speedo to MPH. THye have also instead of putting stickers over the speedo, have just blacked out the "K" in the KMH so it reads "MH" instead. This all seemed fine untill I noticed that the mileometer is now running up in miles instead of Kilometers. This all makes it a bit strange when trying to explain how many miles the car has done come the time when I sell it. Anyone else had there speedo converte…

FPR and Damper part numbers, apparently I need these for servicing, I have no idea what they are or what they do. Can anyone help with the part numbers for a UK car? Cheers in advance.

One of my headlights mists up. I've taken a bulb out and dried it with a hair drier, taking care it's a dry day etc etc etc. But sooner or later it mists up again. Should I be trying to seal it up better or make holes so it can 'breath'? Any idea how to do either of those? Or any other suggestions? I've done lots of searches and still don't know. :(

i have seen an offer £230 for "Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo High Flow Polished Plenum". is it worth buying and if so how much does it cost to fit and maintain (ie keep nice and shiny)? cheers.

somebody on this forum has resprayed their interior dash (plastic bits) in silver. jsut wanted to know who it was and whether they could tell me how the did it (preferably step by step instructions). cheers. p.s. i know most of you will think....that all that is needed is a silver spray can but i assure you it is a little more complicated.

Im in the process and stripping the engine down after spinning a shell on the crank a couple of weeks ago. I figured that while im at it I may as well upgrade as much as I can while im there and get some good high power out of it. Question is what do I get/need? Apart from a Superdrager Cat back, Blitz Intake and ZCenter downpipes shes standard. Advice people, and lots of it i want to join the 400-450bhp boys at least :)

Hi, I need to thoughts on a potentially disasterous engine problem. I was doing about 80 at the weekend when I heard a bit a a bang and the car ground to a halt. On inspection the cambelt (which was replaced around a year ago) had crack through the timing casing. I feared the worse and started getting quotes on engine prices (arounf £2k fitted seemed to be the most common, does that sound right?). I them got a bloke who has done some work on the car to take a look and he said he thinks a tensioner has gone and so the belt has jumped off, rather than snapping. I have a set of 17x7.5 Toora rims. I currently have 235-45-17 tyres all round, but I really need wider tread on the rears, as my powerslide at 95mph in 4th gear in the wet last week highlighted! What's the widest tyres I can safely fit on these rims? Thanks guys Ch

This front bumper has really grown on me, I'm tempted to get my car resprayed this colour as well, it just looks lovely and clean, espeically with the tinted windows...... how close to that tint can i legally get? obviously i can't tint the front window

Hi Having a bash at cleaning the connectors on the injectors this weekend, what do I have to remove - any funny tools needed etc? Gonna clean up any grotty green copper connections I find. I need some help here fellaz, when I am driving my car I can feel the car slightly shaking, as I go up to about 100mph it gets quite bad, it seems as if it is from the left hand side, what can it be? I have had the wheels balanced, I have changed the wheels to my standard ones to check if the other ones were bent, but still have the same problem. Any advice would be appreciated... Cheerz!

Hi, Not the most technical question you will be asked,but,...... does anyone know how i can go about fitting a rear car baby seat in my Z. A front facing one. I only have lap belts in the rear of my car and as a rule you need seat belts. I think i saw one fitted on one of the cars (red i think) at the north west meet the other sunday. Please HELP! I don't want to have to buy an MPV! :(
