anyone had a problem with their car missing when it gets warmed up

Following on from my thread on the members forum and my apparent lack of power in being unable to totally annihilate an AUDI TT, there MUST be something wrong with my Z TT. Can someone who lives in Leicester or surrounding areas with a Z TT (auto), PLEASE get in touch and we can meet up and swop briefly so I can what I have been missing out on and they can give me some pointers how what may be wrong.........fecking hell!! Anyone having problems with ultimate Z in the states. I Ordered springs over a month ago but have not yet arrived, they also arent responding to emails??

I'm looking to upgrade the standard system, I have decided to fit an Alpine IVA D900R media station up front which I can build on as and when cash allows. I'm not sure what to do about speakers, I've got some cheap 6x9 in the doors and some next to useless 4x6 in the rear, I would like to fit a sub but I don't want to impede on storage for the targa tops, what have you guys fitted?

i just realised i can take the key out of my car whilst driving!! surely that aint supposed to happen. i suppose it can be good for leaving th car on in th morning to warm up while i have my breaky cos i can lock it from outside

Hi, Quick question/s, whilst my car is in warranty I intend to find as much wrong with it as possible, so you may be getting a few posts from me!!! Its a JSpec TT, 55k miles. Question 1, I have a whirring noise when driving at 10-50 mph which sounds like a fan noise. Does the viscous coupling fail on Zeds? Or could it be wheel bearings? The car does have 18'' alloys on it, which I should imagine cause allot more stress on them. These noise is fairly constant and starts to disappear over 60mph which is why I thought it might be the fan, due to the coupling starting to loosen up at higher speeds? my auto box revs out in first before it changes to second it will only change to second if you ease off slightly my other auto didnt do this. is it normal (new gearbox 1000 miles ago) steve

I have just bought a 1992 jap import z and the other day I had to remove the ecu due to the dreaded knock sensor code, while I had it out I noticed that it had a plaque on the top of the unit saying "MINES" does this mean that it has been chipped and has anyone heard of this product before cheers Eddie

ok, given that my hands are normal sized, how do i change a headlight bulb... i'm guessing removing the headlight, so how do i do that?

Speaking to Luke, this seems to be very expensive to fit. I'm not sure what it is exactly. All I know is that you end up with a better spoilerless look than you do by filling up the spoiler holes. Any ideas?

Hello, Spending my Fri arvo under the Zed, just to check.. the diff oil filler is on the RHS of the diff, looking from the back of the car, and is only about 2 inches above the drain plug on the LHS? Cheers, Matt.

I understand that my Jspec 1990 300ZX NA had one of these but that it was lost after a minor crash and replacement of the nose. How easy is it to replace this system? I've got a switch for it that does nothing at the moment, but I wouldn't even know where to start looking for the mechanism itself. I don't really need it, but being a bit of a perfectionist I want to get my car into mint condition. Any advice appreciated.
