Ok heres one garunteed to get the comments flying... Why should I keep my 300ZX over a Mitsubishi GTO TwinTurbo? (some CONSTRUCTIVE comments would be useful as well as the usual patriotic slanging for laughs !!) Cheers guys & in the words of ref Mills Lane... LETS GET IT ON!!! :tongue: :shock:

Hi All, I've wanted a ZX ever since I first saw one as a teen. Finally scraped the money together and am about to buy one. I've looked at the buyer's guides etc. and feel like i'm pretty informed. But, there's a guy selling them in dartford / Bexley Heath from his home, according to him he's sold a few, he goes by the name of Joe, has anyone actually bought one from him, and is he trustworthy? Also, i've read bad things about Zubi motors in these forums, but the bloke there reckons he can get me on to my exact spec in about 5 weeks... has anyone else bought one from him? Also, is it worth doing a HPI check if it's an import? And what about RAC / AA …

Trying to remove the instrument cluster, got all screws out, but the darn wiring connectors are tough to remove ....how does the big one to the far right (towards drivers side window) come out....tried everything.....wont budge. John

I removed the passenger turbo because I got tons of white smoke at idle (oil burnt smell). What I discovered doesn't make me happy, the exhaust track is completely fully covered with oil cooked, that's not the rear turbo seal which leaks (perhaps it leaks also) but the oil comes from the cylinders !! I haven't removed the exhaust manifold yet (full of oil cooked). On the pics, don't take care of the oily crap outside of the turbo, it's ATF fluid residue, a power steering problem solved. Last time I removed all the spark plugs, the left and right ones didn't look different but all were covered with oil deposit. Only the passenger tail pipe smoked like the hell at…

Just getting around to installing the rest of Smithy's blue hoses, where do the one from the overflow near the rad cap go ? Does it thread its way down and up into the bottom of the overflow tube (I dont believe I asked that!) How do you get the thing out to hook up the new stuff. Thanks John

hi, does any one know where you can get hydraulic suspension from ? you can get these airbag type of things instead of going the full hog with hydraulics!

just put my car in for some body repairs (ie veilside skirts as there scratched and chipped to hell,driving a citroen saxo :( at the mo not the same as drivin my z,the point of the question is a citroen saxo new costs 6k my z cost 5k and yet the pleasure of driving a 10yr old car is unbelievable!!have any u lot had to go without your z for periods of time,funny how driving a certain car can put u in a totally differant mood

i have got 255/40/17 on the back of my zed does anyone know what pressure these size tyres should have in them. ive got 28 psi in them at the moment cheers Eddie

Thought this was amusing. at a set of lights on a big A road out of Southampton the other day. this tarted up bmw pulls up along side me. he and his lady look the car up and down, he looks at me and just shakes his head in submission. made me laugh all the way home. sometimes you don't need to put the bimmers in their place. this guy just knew :dance:

Been having some probs recently, Still awaiting my JWT chip and Boost Jets, and have installed another boost gauge, Found out i was running low boost (6-7psi) got great help some guys on this site. have got code 34 on ECU, so i look under the bonnet at where the Det Sensor is connected to the electris and find the connector but nothing plugged into it?????? The engine recently had a rebuild (December) at SE Nissan, could they have forgotten to plug this back in??? if so Where is it, i cannot find where it needs to plug into.... also did the resistor check on the connector, ECU still reports code 34, but i am able to run 9psi???? is this weird???? Spotted a Red zed reg A13 *** or similar, with two birds in it! Coming off the A47 Longshoot Nuneaton, Sadly I was in a R5 turbo at the time so I will of just looked like some random knobhead staring.........instead of a knobhead in a zed staring!!! Blue L reg jap Zed parked outside the chinese restaurant in Lane End today. Some kids were giving it the look over when I went past in mine. They looked well surprised.

My mates yellow 300ZX has been stolen this morning at about 5am from the neasden area of north west London!!! We've just come back from the police station after reporting it!!! I just want every1 to keep a look out for suspicious looking zeds or parts that are quite rare from this ZX!!! Iv attached some pictures. It had Tein suspension (coloured green) from the pictures you can make out the alloys and the Stillen type 3 bodykit. Its in yellow, which is quite a rare colour!!! Following on from my thread on the members forum and my apparent lack of power in being unable to totally annihilate an AUDI TT, there MUST be something wrong with my Z TT. Can someone who lives in Leicester or surrounding areas with a Z TT (auto), PLEASE get in touch and we can meet up and swop briefly so I can what I have been missing out on and they can give me some pointers how what may be wrong.........fecking hell!! I'm looking to upgrade the standard system, I have decided to fit an Alpine IVA D900R media station up front which I can build on as and when cash allows. I'm not sure what to do about speakers, I've got some cheap 6x9 in the doors and some next to useless 4x6 in the rear, I would like to fit a sub but I don't want to impede on storage for the targa tops, what have you guys fitted?

i just realised i can take the key out of my car whilst driving!! surely that aint supposed to happen. i suppose it can be good for leaving th car on in th morning to warm up while i have my breaky cos i can lock it from outside
