Doubt anyone will claim this as their's, but thought I'd tell you anyway. Saw a mint white Z on Las Vegas Blvd while on hols last week - SWB, big chrome rims, two big pipes and tunes blarin' for some roof out posin' down The Strip. Sounded sweet as! Fumbled to get the camcorder out in time to catch it, but the lights changed and it was gone before I could say "what lens cap?"!!!

Crashed a 1991 jap import manual twin turbo and unfortunately only on 3PFT insurance. This is the second crash and this time I wasnt being a prat. Engine is fine (just under 60000 miles) and the gearbox is good aswell. However all rads at front are knackered (and oil cooler etc) and the front bumper / bonnet are done for and it has done one light unit and pushed the front right in destroying the fan etc and bending the front cross member right in. Im looking just to get rid of it now and would like either some idea of what its worth or offers if anyones interested in a project. After the accident i managaed to drive it 2 miles home and it was fine. (where the cross member…

My trendy Blitz boost gauge has started behaving badly. It the Racing Meter DC series with the electronic stepping motor and the separate sender unit that can also be connected to water temp and oil pressure (I think) gauges. Is there anyone nearby with the same model that I could do a bit of swapping over bits to see which part has croaked ? Pretty please....

Having a had a good look at this stuff, and after buying it, sniffing it, tasting it etc, ive decided to give it a go in my engine. Its been in about 4 or 5 days now with no adverse effects, and on a possitive note it seems to of toned down the ticky noise that the engine used to make from time to time. so far so good......... .......watch this space.

Keep getting water dumped on feet inside the car! Oh and a fog coming out of the vents at odd times!! Any ideas :(

  22. As far as I can gather! 1. Reduces the charge temp 2. It has minimal flow restriction 3. It is not so big that the air will take too long to fill it. All of these have to be kept in balance obviously but are there any other factors?

Well that time as come.. :hyper: Z in bits waiting for new Turbos, I've plumbed for TD T28's with ballbearings etc etc. (Cheers Smithy mate) Smithy tells me the Tubs come with a flange to be used to make a new header. The small cast header that goes between the tub and the downpipe is now to big for the huge tubs. So a new header is required. Pitty coz smithy had a set made but are for uk and mines a jap. So just so you understand me.. Engine then header (manifold) then turbo, then turbo header (Turbo manifold) and then downpipe. If like me, I thought the downpipe bolted to the tubs themselves. So now for the questions.. 1, Who's done what re the tub header…
