My car has a Navan manual gearknob fitted and I'm trying to refit the original, but I can't get the Navan to shift. I've read that the originals are threadlocked on, does anybody know if the Navan is the same or is there some hidden retaining screw under a cover? Also if I man up and get a plumbers wrench on it, is there a risk of damaging any bushes or the like in the shift mechanism?

Please don't message me its not for sale yet, but things might be changing for me within the next few months so need to look at whether or not I can't keep both my zed's, particularly as I'll need something more economical for a much longer commute Now the slicktops not going anywhere, but I have no idea how much the na is worth, if it's not alot there's no point selling it, Its a 95 na manual lwb, with 236 ish bhp, loads of nice parts, z1 fly prop clutch, dual intake Full exhuast including manifolds, Twinz rear bumper Those of you who have seen it know it's tatty and will need respray respraying and welding at some point Again this is not for sale, …

Just secured a set of nismo lmgt4s They are 19 x 8.5 et25 front 19 x 9.5 et30 rear I'll be running a 275 on the rear and probably a 235 front I think I might want a 5mm spacer front and rear to get perfectly flush. My thoughts on that are that its impossible to run a hub centric that thin, does the wheel still engage on the spigot when mounted 5mm out? Standard arches at the moment but I can give the rear a tweak if needed.

Anyone know where I can get some leather seats made? Looked on Zcentre but doesn't seem to do them anymore. Looking at just getting the front seats redone. Also, for those in the know, im not a paid up member, can I put a 'have you got certain parts just lying around or going really cheap' post. It would include asking for items like, tailgate, rear demon bumper, engine bling, bonnet. Or do I have to pay up and put it in the parts for sale under 'WANTED'.

Thought I would just post this as we seem to have lots of prospective new owners on here looking for TT's, so might be of interest to someone? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/300zx/300zx-tt-auto-swb/3946288 Shame about the stickers though.

Afternoon. Has anyone ordered a wiring harness from WS recently. If so, I was just wondering on the level of service you received. I ordered a new EFI loom, transmission loom and a couple of sub looms last Friday and as of yet have not received any follow up emails with tracking information or other. I received the initial order email which has a order update link, but nothing changes there either and still no tracking info. I have emailed them 2 days ago and have had no reply has yet. The order may just turn up out of the blue, but some tracking info or anything would just be nice to give some confidence in your order. Any thoughts?...More patience?

My zed has been down at Keith's (KJZ32) for a few weeks now getting some much needed new paint & other little bits of tlc as Stevie Wonder didn't do a very good job painting it last time. Will get some pics of the finished job on Sunday when I pick her up but I couldn't resist putting up a few tasters.

Hello all, I haven't really contributed much on here for a while, life has been crazy, so the Zed has been sat in a house garage for a long while, engine-less and dilapidated. But now things are steadying out a bit, work has commenced, well, on the body anyways. Before I waffle on, and this thread might need to be moved, oops, but what is the easiest way to fully degrease and prep a Z32 engine bay? Any tips? Many nooks and crannies... I took her off the road (about 2, or 3 years ago, it's been that long I really can't remember) due to an engine tap/knock that I couldn't quite definitavely diagnose, but it wasn't healthy. Plus, I had notice a few small rust bubb…

I bought the zed back in august. I came here to say hello promised pictures but never did that. To be honest i only made a handful of photos on my iphone during the time and that was it. So originally this had a new second hand engine back in 2014 June if i remember correctly with rebuilt turbos and a fresh MOT. It was running great except for a slight blue smoke on gear changes. I was told by previous owner that it must be oil in exhaust from the last turbos, so since it was running good i assumed that was it. But it never stopped, just kept getting worse. So i changed PCV valves with new hoses, done a compression test all good leakdown test good as well, intake hoses …

Got home from work this evening to find a nice big box  A genuine 99 spec bumper, 99 spec indicators and a full scuttle panel!! I have to thank Luke from Z Centre again, as I had paid the money nearly 10 years ago and Luke honoured our deal. I thought that I had lost the money as it was so long ago and had just written it off as bad luck as I have done with other people. I didn't even have to ring Luke, I just placed the order online and mentioned in the comment box that I might have some credit! That's all I did and now I have my new parts!! I'm actually gobsmacked!! Cheers Luke, you are a true Gentleman. Richie

Hi guys, So today she finally died... went to go for a nice drive in the sun and it started but died after a couple of seconds, and then wont start. This is something that has been developing for a few months. occasionally not starting, then if I leave it for a couple of minutes it will start. The symptoms are that it will turn over but not fire. or fire first time and start, but then immediately die, by what seems like fuel starvation. Also, I though I had worked out that if I hear the fuel pump prime it usually meant the car would start. this seemed consistent. If I didn't hear it prime then it wouldn't start, pointing to fuel problems. This l…

Hey guys, I've been pondering whether to update my Z with some nice subtle daytime running lights which I think will give the Z a nice updated modern look I want to make for my Z. I have been looking at all the universal brands and stuff out on the net and I kinda know what I would prefer in turns of look and styling but I am not 100% which location would look better. Currently the 2 locations I'm thinking of is 1 would be at the upper section of the front mouth opening on the 2kspec front bar, beside the the sides of the standard front licence plate location. The other location I'm thinking of is on the upper section of each intercooler side mouth openings…
