As most of you know, I'm still searching for a zed worth getting. I might have found one, but although the owner claims it's rust free it has these bits. Is even this enough to possibly avoid it, or is it likely to be able to be ground back and repainted?

Power issues, misfires, lumpy running? Many of the running issues are simply sensor faults, connection issues and poor set up, or a combination of all three. Now most of these have been dealt with many times here but a little known issue that is increasing with time is with relays in the fuse box that can potentially upset the clear and concise running of your zed and be the cause of all manner of issues. Check out the circuit diagram above which among other things shows the fuel pump relay and the equally crucial coil pack power relay, for the purpose of this illustration the coil pack relay will be focused on but to a slightly lesser degree the fuel relay and…

Had a nasty surprise when ramping my car at work, a small hole in the sill turned out to be a gapeing chasm!! I'm in the fortunate position of teaching mechanics at college though and my friend who teaches the welding course (best I've ever seen) has kindly offered to rectify it he's about half way through at mo and it will be mint , strong and look perfect when finished. Its a 90 tt manual with 426 bhp few nice mods and shows 64k with some paperwork to make me believe it's genuine, it's a uk car as well in white. Turns heads like nothing iv been in and goes like poo off a shovel. It confuses me a little why 300's are worth so little, supras 10k ish, skylines the same , z'…

Hey guys. Got a real wierd smell earlier of an old workshop in the car. Looked like power steering fluid had leaked everywhere. Just a question... I know the clutch is hydraulic but is it from the power steering? If so it would make a lot of sense aha as my power steering has been going with the leek and I have had clutch pedal problems

Hi all, Been looking at updating the style of seats to go with the new style of body work. I've had various types before but I'm liking the newer style that you see in more modern cars like the Audi RS4 or Golf R32. Do you think these will suit the zed? Bit different from the norm but they look comfortable compared to many I've looked at. Most look like they have no padding at all. Thanks Dan

I got my first Z last weekend – a manual TT in an aftermarket cosmic blue! I'm absolutely loving it so far, just noticed a couple of oddities. Firstly, when I boost sometimes it is super smooth but other times it really judders. Like a hesitation, and I think I can hear it backfire (hard to tell as it has a muffler). Does anyone have any ideas what could cause something like this? It strikes me odd that it happens sometimes and not others. Secondly, I've noticed a judder from between 40–60mph. From what I've read on the forums, this is quite common, and a misaligned prop shaft is to blame? Thanks!

Parked up in N16 around 11.00 this morning... looked clean with nice rims. Had the Mrs and her dad in the car, so could only take a quick reverse for a second look.

Is there a solid reliable way to identify tt injectors over NA? After this mess over the NA engine I want to ensure I've got what I think I've got. I know what colour they should be but as you likely know they fade/change colour. I've looked into flow testing them to be sure but this works out at £21+postage+vat per injector which soon adds up, il go that way if I must but I thought there may be a printed code etc?

Right Lads & Ladetts of the club, another coilover question situation. Currently fitted to my LWB TT are HKS Coilovers, The rears are sitting on the adjusting cup but there is no other way to adjust except compress the spring then adjust which probably means removing and getting the heights done properly. I have also got a set of Tein street Adjustable coilovers EDFC that ive had for a while that i bought off a member on here that have done the rounds. So what would you fit between these 2 sets?? Keep it clean.. Many Thanks. Trev.
