Well I spent a little while adding my new cheap gauge to the steering cowling after i made a pod for it and fixed it in place...... I wanted to see what you all think?

Well my 2 year old son got hold of my zed key and some how snapped it, I have both bits do you think a key cutter will be able to sort it. If not can nissan still sorce me one these days? It's my only key I got with the car as well:( Cheers mark

Managed to do some work on the poor old zed the other day, installed the fmic and fired her up only to be greeted by a loud tapping as she's running, it increases speed with the revs and sounds like it's coming from the top of the engine to the rear near the firewall. She was running fine before nice and smooth , just a little smokey from the pcv valves. Not been run for about two months now, any ideas?

I've a week off work, so need to fix a few things with my zeds First is on the was home yesterday in the na and the speed speedo suddenly stopped working, if the steering goes steering when heavy as well so could be fun to fix any suggestions? Mainly want to work on my swb, and I need some advice on its boost issue, took it for a drive and think I've worked out a pattern, it boosts 1 bar through 1-3 gear, but under load in 4th 5th (like when I was on the dyno) it only reaches 0.5 bar, but if it's still accelerating from 3rd so under less load it boosts properly. Can't test 4th into 5th on public roads. Anyone have any ideas, thought it was the boost controller b…

The majority of us have HID lights in our projector dipped or low beam and mostly these are white in the range of 4300 - 6000k colour. The main or high beam is another matter as a H1 HID light kits can be fit for sure but full lumens is not instant, so flashing is going to look weary and even on and off the main beam on an unlit road could lead to issues. Many months ago i bought these bad boys and here is a pic along side a standard filament 55w H1. I'm sure you can see there is a big difference with the led one being a massive 18mm in diameter, this will not fit in the stock opening so out with the dremel and open it up, it's aluminium so this …

Well as the weathers getting better and the car season starts again my 300 got out for more then half hour today ,my little one will be 2 next week and she's more then helpful when it comes to a good clean

As above,thinking of selling it if somone makes the right offer:),swb tt,it's been used as track car so stripped out with racing seats and harnesses,quick release wheel,loads of new parts,still have interiour so could be put back on the road for not much work or money,this is a great car fantastic engine and box,all,the body work has been done with repaint,but paint job was done by me so bear in mind it's not been done professionally,pm me if your interested..oh and I'm not desperate to sell so no silly offers please:)

Just out of curiously really. The pipe work (intake and intercooling etc) is pretty much identical on both side. So equal lengths etc. My question is, if it wasn't the same, so one side was a little shorter than the other (mainly from the turbo outlet to the intercooler), would it cause any problems at all?

Hi chaps, the carpet in my driver's footwell is often damp, especially in the winter. I can't find any rain leaks, and the targa drains aren't blocked. I'm not losing any coolant either (at least noticeably) - it does seem to taste a bit like coolant but I might be already intoxicated... The whole area behind the pedals just seems to get covered in condensation, so much so that there's surface rust (hard to see but the shiny parts at the top of the picture are wet): Any ideas on the cause? Could it be rain dripping in via the throttle cable or master cylinder? Or is it just because of the weather being damp? Heater matrix? Thanks!

Hi, I have noticed to night when I turned the car off some water came from the right side of the car and ran down the path. This is the second time its happened in the last 2 weeks. I checked water level and looks fine, I just assumed it came from the expansion bottle. could it be anything else? cheers mark

Hi Guys I've got an issue with the number 5 cylinder not firing (first one on the pass side looking from inside) and when I do a bit of research I find that that cylinder seems to have a disproportionate amount of failure from the other ones, is this common knowledge or just luck... Rich

I was in York yesterday and caught a glimpse of a dark Blue Zed parked up outside what looked like an apartment complex. I was going from Haxby Road toward the Fulford area, didn't get the reg but looked a nice example. Is it anyone on here?????

So I've just finished a full rebuild, started the engine today for the first time, and the lifters are REALLY noisey, I'm hoping it's just a case of the oil not being fully pressurised yet and not all the way round the engine yet, I've only ran it for ten mins, tomorrow I'm going to let it reach operating temp and see if it stops, everything was installed correctly, so I'm baffled really, I'm hoping it quiets down once the oil is warm and thinner? Also there is smoke coming up from the engine bay either side of the engine, there are no leaks so I'm hoping it's just all the oil and wd40 etc burning off the freshly build engine? I'm just hoping for the best! Haha
