just wondering at what power level does a 300zx become just to much for the public road as in its just not usable on the street just wondering what people think 500bhp 600bhp 700bbp 800bhp looking at power at the wheels

Why do some actuators have one feed of them opposed to some like mine that have two comming of the unit? thanks.

I have never fitted after market seats before. whats the beat way to go about this in the 300zx I see after market sub frames are thin on the ground. would it be a case of modding the old oem brackets to suit. who has done this and how did you go about doing it

Hi guys it's been a while, think my ecu has broken, fat friend of mine sat in the passenger seat and kicked it car then tired off and hasn't started since. Spark plugs are clean and there's no spark or fuel going in. So pretty sure it must be ecu. It's been mapped so il Have to also solder my mapped chip into the new ecu unless someone has one with an adapter already fitted?

Hi folks , Sometimes (usually when cold) my speedo doesnt work and will then just kick in and work as normal , other times I will be driving down the motorway and it will flick up to 120mph (without me doing 120mph) and then read as normal again . Any ideas ? I did try to do a quick search but didnt see anthing .

Set if tubular tt manifolds sold for £41 last few seconds I had a max of 40.99 set 30 secs before the end. Wanted them lol.

I have just installed a engine in my zed which I removed from a donor car. Could anybody tell me the correct way to plumb it in as I can't quite remember how it was originally done. At the moment both the hoses from the actuators are connected to the boost solenoid com pipe. What I need to know is where do the other 2 pipes go which T-off on the other side of the solenoid. Can anybody help please! !!!!

As some of you will know. I've been having a stalling problem when coming off boost and putting the clutch down. Anyway, done a couple of boost leak tests and wasn't bringing up and of the usual suspects. So, I managed to find some air coming our near the drivers turbo, didn't seem a massive amount of air so assumptions were as normal, dam clamp... So, decided I'm taking all the turbo outlet pipes off as that might be the best way to go and bingo, found the problem. Obviously it didn't feel like loads of air because the whole was so dam bog and pointing a direction that I couldn't get in to listen at, so I was just finding a small amount blowing back. …

Is it possible to change the turbos without removing the engine?

Are any of you local to me? I'd sure like to have a proper look around a TT and perhaps get a ride to see how they are on the move!

Right then I had the car up on some ramps and overall the car is in really good shape for its age however there is some bubbling on the left arch and the right sill has split the paint . My friend is a restoration specialist and can do the work such as cutting out the rust and fabrication but has said that is I can get the metal bits it would be easier and less labour etc . So just seeing where I can get the bits and a rough Idea of cost . He has said it would be around £200 to sort it out but may be able to get it done cheaper if I get the metal bits .

Nice to see my old car on ebay still looking as good as when I sold it.I only sold it because i was going through a divorce.I have a black one now which is no where near as nice.I wish I had the money I would buy it back! I know past comments on car covers! Anyway I got this from Halfords It fits well, ties underneath & does not flap around. Last night was gale force here & it has not moved an inch & the material is good. For £50 I think it's a good buy.

Well, having had the body shop order a door and wing from Japan on 23/12 the finally got the wing delivered last Wednesday. When they asked where's the door they said 'oh we couldn't get one . They're not made any more' The body shop went ape saying you effing well could have told us. But to no avail. So, new doors no longer available ex Japan ! Got on to Mr F and he's got a good clean one I'm picking up tomorrow. Then up to Coleshill on Wednesday to drop it off and back up home and then Take the zed back down to get it fixed finally ! Whoopee my zeds going to be back on the road all nice and shiny and new !

...have just gone out for a drive in his Zed! It took a while to convince her to go for a passenger ride, but I think it'll be worth it... as he's a more "aggressive" driver than I am... ;) :thumbup1:
