Anyone know the right size jubilee clip / hose clamp for the air intake (where the MAF fits)? ID look at the car but I'm out at the minute. Be good to know the size of the other 2 (left and right) that the intake T pipe has. Thanks, Lee

Have a set of single pot rear Brembos from an R33 with disks (300mm). Question is are they going to be any real improvement over the OEM rears? or should I just look at D2 or K sport rears

Im thinking that 2.5 inch pipe work is better for the front mount im wanting. The inlets and outlets are 2.5" but the pipework reduces straght down two 2" with reduces with all kits on the market. So im thinking ill buy the intercooler on its own then buy some pipe work to fit. My question is should i buy three inch pipe with 3" to 2.5" couplers or what best size to get.or can i get 2.5" pipe and what size joiners will fit suggly over both pipes without air leaks.

I've been looking at XXR 527s 18X9.75 alloys and think they'd look rather good on the car. Has anyone got a pair with decent pics and advice on the a good tyre size to run? Or similar wheels?

I am going to use this is a bit of a diary of this issue so I can keep track, as well as hopefully hear some thoughts.. Generally car runs beautifully with no issues, with an intermittent stalling/fuelling issue which I would like to keep an eye on Issue started 3 months ago. Stalled turning out of my road when I put the clutch down, and wouldnt' start again for a couple of mins. Then fine for another months. Second occurrence a month later - Motorway in 4th gear - Foot down to overtake and power cuts out completely. Put clutch in and engine stalls (traveling 60mph). Clutch back out to bump start engine again and all power was resumed. No issues there…

Had the MOT this morning and passed with a clean sheet! By far the smoothest and quickest MOT I've ever experienced! I wanted to express my huge thanks to AndrewG who has helped me more than he should have over the past few weeks and even gave me the recommendation for the garage today! I'll certainly be returning next year!

My import has a km to miles converter box fitted which sorts out the instruments, but I'm left with the power steering being really light. As its a series 4 I can't fit UK clocks because all the connectors are different, but I've had an idea and wondered if anybody could tell me if it'll work! The speedo converter was fitted before I got the car so I don't know how it's connected, but I assume there is a connector from it going to the speedo and to the ECU, to sort out the clocks and the speed limiter respectively. If I disconnect the converted output to the ECU and reconnect the original Km/h signal will that sort out the steering? I realise that would put the speed…

Hi I'm new to the forums and in the market for my first 300zx. I've come across one on Gumtree which I'm quite interested in (I can't stand the front bumper, but they rest of the specifications look very enticing): http://www.gumtree.com/p/nissan/nissan-300-zx-twin-turbo-veilside-/1092481147 I've been speaking to the seller, and I was asking him what modifications I need to list for getting an insurance quote. He then proceeded to tell me that it was a Veilside made 300zx and therefore I wouldn't need to list any of the modifications. From a quick google of Veilside 300zx, and this doesn't look anyway near as meticulously tuned as those. Is this …

So I'm finally going to start work on getting the zed back on the road, I've decided the best way to tackle the mystery problem I have is to just pull the engine and rebuild it. I'm not seeking big power, I was hoping with a remap from Noz 400BHP. Should be more than enough. As it happens I'm going to New York sometime in the near future so was hoping to take advantage of that and buy some bits from Z1 and then bring them back in my case, avoiding postage and customs costs. (already spoke to the hotel and to Z1, both parties don't see a problem with this) I've made a quick wishlist but I could be missing something, what do you think? Also I'm not…

Alright guys and gals. Finally got a z32. 1991. Twin turbo manual. Very happy. It does however look a bit tired on the paint but nothing I can't sort there. Done 90000. Mechanically it's great. No smoke. Boost needle where it should be. Sounds great. New timing belt. Very happy. However. What are the tell tail signs the clutch is going? Pictures later date as I don't know how to put them on as I am on my phone aha
