Your going to love this one.right.just had a really daft thought. But as i thougjt about it, it started not to sound that darft atall so here goes. Rihht on my last car.to get the max air into my car i bouhht yhe biggest dan k and n air filtet yhat would poss fit behind my intercooler.a front mount. Now in thinking insted of spending another eigjt hundred pounds on two maffs and aload of electrical stuff to wire up two maffs.can i just use the existing maff and split the pipe into two like how it comes behind the maff and run two seprate air filters further down into cleaner air on both sides..would be nice just to do away with maff altogether. But i bet theres more t…

Well new year, new plans, With my green na having passed it's mot and the tyre replaced after its blowout, i've decided to turn my attention to my swb, and just keep playing with the green one, to cut a long story short, my mate are supra guys and I've inadvertently started a bit of a competition between my 300 and their Toyota, I know roughly what I'm doing but not tunned anything to this level before, so assuming I'm a complete novice what would I need to achieve 550-600 bhp? As that's what I'll need to be competitive. I don't want to build it to destruction and there's no deadline, so it want to do it properly. Here's my current thoughts Gt675 …

So decided I would do a boost leak check today. The tools I was using are below: 1 vac/boost leak plug 1 piece of blue tubing as I have loads sitting about in the shed and its great for hearing small leaks. 1 halfrauds tyre pressure inflator thingy Sadly, I didn't seem to be able to get any pressure in the system, nor was I able to find any leaks. Thought maybe the tyre blower upper may just not be giving enough air. So, I decided to get the smoke matches out of the boot and try again. At first, I can't see it coming out from anywhere, but then sure enough, it showed itself. Sadly it's coming from down near the drivers side turbo and I can't actua…

Hello. I cant sell on here but not sure where the best place to put this. Mods, please move or delete as you see fit. Doing a bit of tidying up and found a grounding kit I bought on here years ago. Never opened or fiited, think they were about £40 at the time. I dont think I'll have another Zed so no use to me. Seems a waste to throw it away so thought id see if anybody wanted it. Im in Solihull. Got a load of other zed bits if anybody is interested. Mirrors, rads off the top of my head, probably loads of other bits too.

On-going issues with my headlights, I'd like to ask a question, I upgraded my main beams to a Xenon bulb, great improvement, if you put the Main beams on and with my hand cut the beam down to imitate a dip bulb, the illumination is great, much better than the HID's. so I wondered, surely an upgraded Xenon bulb on the dip would be the same.. So I buy some and install them. go for a drive on a Dark, Dark Night.. and hey presto, Rubbish!! So what's going on, is there some wiring issue happening that I don't know about that is causing this, Any 'leccy guru's please apply.... Rich

  16. Started by bird,

After a bit of help really. So started the car today and took it for a spin. It's been sat for about 3 or 4 few weeks. The only thing I've done was put a new battery on it yesterday. Car drove okay, got. Back and noticed the idle seemed a bit high at around 1200 rpm. So got the computer on and the AAc was at 17% so decided to try and get it at 15%. This didnt seem to work. I then noticed the TPS was at .42v. So I've changed this to .44v so I know that's right. My problem is, now the AAC seems to have gone up to like 70% and doesn't want to change. The timing also seemed to be in the 30's and jumping around, checked it with a timing light and it lo…

As above, has anybody got contact details for Graham apart from his email address which I've tried? Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to PM him anymore, I assume because I'm no longer a subscribed member. I can see that he has been on the forum today so hopefully he will see this post himself, but if anyone has his direct contact details is there any chance you could let him know I am trying to get in touch with him. Cheers, James

More and more it seems to be people can't differentuate facts with opinions, equally the venom of what some make their "facts" is disgusting. This is by no means the worst but I stumbled across this and ended up reading it as you do, I came away thinking this is why I don't like a lot of people. Honestly we could do with some proper problems for these people to fixate on. The highlight was the chap who accuses his neighbour of being a drink driver on the basis that her cars loud she's young and she gets home late...mate she might work nights? http://www.govyou.co.uk/ban-loud-vehicle-exhaust-modification/
