when i put my foot down the temp gauge drops right down to the bottom. Also seems to be jumping all over the place :cry: Any ideas what this could be This is with foot on the gas And this is without foot on the gas

Around 1pm'ish today, spotted a silver kitted z heading from wantage towards hanney, then 10mins later spotted a black z, nr abingdon.

Hi guys. My drivers side seat has the usual wear on the bolster. Has anyone ever tried re-covering a drivers side seat with a passenger side cover. Are both seats the same, and is it possible to remove and re-fit them without damage. Can't afford full retrim due to letter from Tax man.

Anyone know the rough cost of having my turbos replaced? I've got the new turbos, so just need em fitting! Cheers.

Right i've had my fire extinguisher in my glove box for the last few weeks but i want to mount it on the tunnel but i just want to make sure there's no fuel/brake lines etc in the way so i can drill two pilot hoes into it for a couple of self tapping screws. Obviously it's getting mounted on the passenger side.. anyone done this or know if it'll be alright to go ahead with it? would save me a lot of hassle folks. cheers.

Would like a general idea of what cost is involved in fitting a bodykit by the professionals. I know what kit I want hence know the price of that but need to know the labour & sundries costs etc. Also any recommendation on fitters. Thanks

Ok chaps, I am a bit confused here. Currently have boost jets installed and ECU chipped. This was actually done by Ztech a few months back. I don't know what chip it is or how much increase in boost I have as don't have a boost gauge. However I would like to know what is the difference in boost jets as opposed to an electronic boost controller. What are the advantages and disadvantages on boths ? Would the later make the Zed boost more higher hence more power ? Thanks

Hope some one can help, After driving the zed last week,parked it in the garage,it was running perfect. two days later when i started it up, seemed to be misfiring. checked plugs and coils all seem to be ok, so did a diognostic on the ecu. Fault showed code 42, Fuel temperature sensor. Would this cause a problem on only one side of the engine? and if so any ideas where i can get one on the quick!!!

Tried to fit this today and the bypass tube will not fit. This is a K'reg UK car and has metal piping to the hicas unit. Any ideas what i can do? There is a PIRTEK branch near me so i could get something made up. Where is the best place to bypass? at the unit or at the pump? If anyone has eliminated a UK hicas, then any info would be appreciated. Also been under the car whilst someone is rocking the wheel and it is definately the hicas unit that is allowing the movement. MOT due in 2 weeks :eek:

Is there anyway of changing the time on this website?, its about 15 minutes to slow! I know it doesn't matter, but it drives me nuts, like when the volume on a stereo is set to an uneven number! makes me wanna pull my arm off an throw it at someone!

Ok, after deciding not to break my zed, i was wondering, if i tell you the symptoms my car has, can anyone give me a rough diagnosis? There is oil in the o/s pipe where the boost jet is, there is smoke coming from exhaust, which i couldn't see, but its gradually gathered up the back of my car and it drinks oil quicker than i can drink a pint! Oh, and it misfires! But it still runs full boost! Someone has told me i need a new turbo as the seal has gone! Please, let this be true! Any help would be really appreciated, and thanks to everyone who talked me out of breaking it! :bow:

Just fitted my HKS FMIC to my Z, the only problem is that i did it without instructions, just went by pics i had, does anyone know how the bottom of it goes on? as im a but stuck, i have a Greedy oil cooler that is in the way a bit but i cant see where to attach the dam thing!

ihave just bought a new red Z badge for the front of my Zed i need to remove the old one... any ideas of how to prise it off?? i was thinking of using a hairdryer but i am worried i will damage the paintwork

Hi all, I am generally OK with electricals, and have fitted many extra toys tomy other car, (tv,DVD, Xbox, Fridge, sat nav etc etc) but have come accross a sticking point on the Zed. In order to fill the spare DIN, I decided to go with an motorised in dash screen/TV. I have got power to everything and have a lovely picture, but I'll be dammed if I can get any sound to work!!!!! My initial plan was to wire the output from the DVD player direct to the car speakers. Not only did that not work, but it also cut out all sound from the stereo. I then connected the DVD output to the monitor and the monitor out put to the speakers and had the same problem. My final (an…
