This is not for my ZX but for a work mate. She was unlucky to have her steel alloy wheels sprayed gold. Is there a cheapish way to get this removed? Thanks in advance

Hi All, Im looking for Centre Console ideas - i do like the look of mine just want to make it look better, just got the standard at the mo - fitted a CD player and have a little 'holder' underneath ... was thinking maybe spraying the whole thing silver? get a blanking plate instead of the holder, not sure..any ideas? pics of yours? thanks Ed

Hi Guys / girls my missus has a mondeo ( wow wee I know ), and she has decided to replace the battery in her keyfob for the remote unlocking, she left the battery out too long and now the key needs to be programmed to the locking. Its a 1994 ghia...... do any of you know what the procedure is for pairing the key back up with the car ? cheers Andy.

at 6pm today on Green Lane in Thornton Heath Looked like it had some nice five spoke wheels.

OK as some of you may know I ripped the thread of my o2 sensor nut. I will be replacing the adaptor with a new one from MJP (thanks again mike). Is there any special tool that anyone can suggest to remove this. The only reason I ask is that it is around a 32mm hex nut but with only a depth of 7mm or so. This means that using a normal socket of the corrrect size isnt of great help as there are countersinks of roughly the same size. Any suggestions?? TIA, Dave G

HI wondered if any1 can help. we recently fitted a set of turbo technics bovs to my car and for some reason they arnt working, i can hear my wastegates but no whooosh not even a little 1. infact you can put your hand around the valve and you cant feel any thing being dumped either. they are fitted correctly and ive unfitted and refitted them twice know. using different vaccume pipes etc. the pistons inside the valves are moving and they where brand new. when bought. any ideas anyone?????????

I have a 1990 300ZX 2+2 N/A auto import. I seem to have a strange noise from underneath when I start up. There is also a grinding noise sometimes when I'm driving. I have concerns it may have something to do with the auto box or maybe the torque converter. I'm relatively new, so wouldn't want to get stitched up when I take it to a garage. Does this sound like a common fault?, if so, could you advise as to what I should hear from a mechanic when I take it to a garage. It may sound like a ridiculous request to some, but I have had work done in the past only to find out later that what they had done had nothing to do with the fault so I ended up spending loads of…

Been tryin to do this today, but no luck...! Will not build any pressure ! Cant hear where its going, using a compresser,removed cas wires and slightly cracked engine a few times and then i even blocked exhausts. One of vjay's from group buy. Aftermarket greedy side mount intercoolers. As far as i know i dont have any leaks, just figured i would have a go at this and check system, half wish i didnt start as want to find out why now FFS. Any ideas ?

I have just ordered a head unit for Audrey, oh I think I must explain. Audrey is what I have named the motor due to the fact that Audrey Hepburn played the lead in the film My Fairlady, can you see where I'm going with this? Anyway, the car has an aftermarket head unit in it at the moment but its Japanese. What I need to know is will the plugs be the same or does it not have an ISO connection. Cheers, Scrawni.

Hi Took my alloys off for a refurb......all bar one. It is stuck like shite to a blanket :hurl: I have tried heavily lubing it with wd40, and hitting it from both front and back with a mallet, but the bloody thing wont move :nono: I am hoping there is an easy solution.....so please let this simpleton know what it is :slap: I did look it up on google and found it could be stuck to the axle :shock: Doubt it makes any difference but they are the mondena alloys :) Cheers Guys

hi all, i have 2 blanking plugs one left one wright on the turbo elbows i think, both made out of rubber 1" dia, with a jubile clip holding them in place, they have rotted, wood this cause any problems with boost if i rev the car up to produce boost and then let go with my hand over the hole it sucks on my hand and where can i get 2 new ones from if you remove the front panel they are there one left of the rad and the other right of the rad . Apologies for being a bit of a dumbass here.... I have read up a few Wheel threads but Im after ideas please. I want 18" rims for my Zed... Presumably deeper on the rear than the front... I need tyres too so Im interested in a package. I think I want 5 spokes with a bit of a dish, but am open to suggestion. Not sure of exact price but if I can keep then under £12/1300 that would be great. So any traders that read this,...... Show me what you got please :)
