Hi Took my alloys off for a refurb......all bar one. It is stuck like shite to a blanket :hurl: I have tried heavily lubing it with wd40, and hitting it from both front and back with a mallet, but the bloody thing wont move :nono: I am hoping there is an easy solution.....so please let this simpleton know what it is :slap: I did look it up on google and found it could be stuck to the axle :shock: Doubt it makes any difference but they are the mondena alloys :) Cheers Guys

hi all, i have 2 blanking plugs one left one wright on the turbo elbows i think, both made out of rubber 1" dia, with a jubile clip holding them in place, they have rotted, wood this cause any problems with boost if i rev the car up to produce boost and then let go with my hand over the hole it sucks on my hand and where can i get 2 new ones from if you remove the front panel they are there one left of the rad and the other right of the rad . Apologies for being a bit of a dumbass here.... I have read up a few Wheel threads but Im after ideas please. I want 18" rims for my Zed... Presumably deeper on the rear than the front... I need tyres too so Im interested in a package. I think I want 5 spokes with a bit of a dish, but am open to suggestion. Not sure of exact price but if I can keep then under £12/1300 that would be great. So any traders that read this,...... Show me what you got please :)

I've been activly looking for a zed to buy for the last couple of weeks, :dance: :nana2: :dance: i Keep checking the for sale section, as i thought it'd be best to buy a car that has been looked after by some who knew what they were doing. :rolleyes: :tongue: and was wondering what advise anybody had about importing a zed? has anybody done it? any major prob's? have been looking of an import site today and the zed's they have are for silly money, 94 LWB TT £1600 with all shipping fee's and taxes but not SVA, :shock: :shock: Any help or advise would be greatly recieved :bow: Neil

Stupid noob question-When i have a code 55 on ECU test does this mean everythings all ok? Ive got an eratic idle at when stationary.(starting from cold to operating temp it will settle at 750 revs then go for a drive and come back it will idle at 1000?) Is my base idle out?

Just done an Ecu test and it comes up with Code 34 (Det sensor). I had a Profec fitted some time ago and never really noticed any issues. The car seems to boost ok but will need to check. What are my options? I don't really want to have to have the engine out... HEEEELP

My car failed MOT recently due to emmissions. I discovered that the O2 sensors needed replacing. I have done this using 2 very low mileage sensors. Hi all. Just noticed yesterday that my heating isnt really hot, had it at 40 on auto, (doesnt come out of the centre vents or door vents) had to put my hand over the door window demister vents and feels warm but not hot, surely set at 40 it should feel hot, not just warm? oh and the car was at full temp.. any ideas? thanks

ive stripped my wheels to paint the centers, does any one know what i should torque the bolts to? they were bloody tight to come off but they were corroded and held on with locking compound so i dont know how tight the actually were. cheers, Fraser

How easy is it to take the sump off in situ, Do you have to take out the engine, just lift it a bit or can you take it off without lifting at all. If you can take it off in the car can you drop all the main bearing caps to change the shells and is the oil pump easy to take off. Cheers

Hi, Sorry to mention this again. There is loads of threads about this. To much to digest. Can you please give me an opinion on these setups. I haven't decided on 18's or 19's yet. 19's do look good. might be a bit bumpy though. Especially as my cars lowered with KYB AGX's on it. 19" x 10.5 rear with 265/30 tyres 19" x 8.5 front with 235/35 tyres or 18" x 10.5 rear with 265/35 tyres 18" x 8.5 front with 235/40 tyres As long as I'm right on sizing. Hi Guys, As yet I am not a Zed owner (please don't throw things)... but plan to buy one as a second/project come weekend car. I await the passing of three things... 1. My 25th Birthday (Mucho insurance savings) :dance: 2. Promotion at work... so i can afford it basically! 3. Accommodation for both me and the Zed... I.e. a house with a garage. ok I asked this a while ago but got my wheels sizes wrong :slap: does anyone know what the biggest tyre size is you can put on a 17x8 inch wheel ive heard some folk go for 255 40 17 but have also been told that 245 40 17 is the biggest it should be thanks in advance people:D

Greetings, I would like to upgrade from my stock turbos to hybrids. I have already ordered Nismo 550 injectors and bigger side mount intercoolers. Can you guys/gals recommend what hybrids to go for and where its best to get them from. Finally what does one pay for the hybrids and fitting costs. Sorry to be a pain. Thanks in advance !
