just put my refurbished wheels back on and need to stop me having to get them redone again so quick im currently running 235/35/19s on the front (bead protectors sit flush) 235/45/19s on the rear and the alloy sticks above the tyre all 4 falkens so was going to put the 245's on the front and buy two new 265's for the rears BUT apparently falken don't do a 265/35/19 but can get 275's question is are these going to be ok? the 4 tyres i have on now have done less than 500 miles, :cry: but need to do something to stop the problem happening again :headvswal btw heres me wheels back on lol

I currently have no front side lights. I am due an MOT and I assume I will need these to pass? someone know otherwise? So what are the minimum requirements for size/brightness/location?? And i'd rather not use the normal sidelights as there location has been reserved :smash: All help appreciated :cool:

Im looking to change the bulbs in my Zed (main dip and side) as they are pretty useless I have a J-Spec Zed i from what i can gather they dont use H1 bulbs... is that correct? Do i need H3C bulbs for both main and dip? Can i put in 100w or 80w Xenon bulbs or do i have to stick to 55w bulbs? Do main beam and dip beam use the same wattage? are they both H3C? As you can tell i am rather confused...

hi guys, does anyone know the actual offence the police can charge you with for driving a car on jap plates? i have motor traders insurance,a valid mot displaying my chassis number,and a receipt that ive paid for road tax. customs have been messing me about having me fill in all sorts of forms because they are too stupid to listen so i cant register the car till i get some declaration of vat to give to dvla, so i'm now planning on using the car on jap plates and would like to know whats the worst they can throw at me? thanks in advance(and sorry for the rant) a rather pi$$ed off Paul

yes its another idle question.....(and i have used the search as well before asking this question) My Zed keeps running at 1000 in park (with air-con,heater etc off). Ive cleaned the temp sensor plug that was gunky reset the ECU and since then its idles cold at normal revs,then by the time temp guage reads quater of the way round it reads about 750-800 revs.Great i think!But by the car is back up to normal temp it runs at 1000 again.Ive cleaned the TPS connectors as well. Would this problem indicate the Temp sensor is at fault because it reads 750-800 with the needle a quater round?

Helloooooooooo Anyone know where you can get replacement plastic grill bits that sit underneath the windscreen wipers? I know concept Z perf do a trim kit but it doesn't include these bits! Ideas?

No3 cylinder :confused: If i remove coil conector no engine note change,(have tried other coil packs of Chunk(cheers mate)still same,so,having put in new plugs recently i took no3 out,was very white,but piston top not look dry more dampish,put another plug in,still same,so while engine running check spark from coil ,was ok(Chunk was witness :) ) so me thinks injector,just been to check it(screwdriver to ear etc)and its clicking away,if i take off injector conector it still clicks but lower note(unless i imagining things),car has new loom from ecu and series 2 PTU,any ideas or things to check further! i normaly have plenty patience but its bloody testing me and its s…

Hi people, I found out yesterday that I have slack in the UJ in the picture attached. How much would one of these cost and either get replaced or replace myself. Could there be anything else amiss ? Also, some time ago I replaced the shox with good stock second hand ones and now, after some time of them being fitted, I'm getting some clunking sounds from both sides but more on the drivers side. The sound is difficult to explain but it soulds like the thread of a bolt rubbing against some metal ! I have had a 'quick' visual inspection and all bolts/nuts appear tight. What I didn't do was refit the small orange gaskets on top of the front struts as they were both sh4gg…

Black G reg with black alloys, parked off London Road on Friday night (I'm assuming you live there because I've seen it a couple of times). At least, I think it's black, but I've only ever seen it at night so could be a very dark blue I suppose. Silver zed, went up High West Street and turned left at Top 'O Town roundabout. Saturday afternoon at around 3.30 or so.

Looked at online manual(AndyP site) according to that its pin out 103 for injector 3 on cyl 3,but i allso have another online manual(downloaded)that says pin out no 104 for inj 3,any one know for sure,as i just of out there in mo to find why cyl3 injec not firing. Tony

I am getting fed up with the goose honk from my recirc valves - but I don't want dump valves. Can you get uprated recircs - if so where from and how much ?

Has anybody got any pics of the standard Jap TT Valves. Im not sure if ones on mine are standard as i get a bit of a 'whoosh' when i lift off gas (auto)and they dont look anything like the standard re-circlics i had on the Skyline. Hi ya guys can anybody tell me what the nissan uk part number is for the main beam relay and will it be different to the jap spec car as i have no main beam and believe this to be the problem. ive checked fuses,continuity etc all okay. the number on the relay in the car at the moment is 25230 c9911 according to nissan uk this isnt correct???? any ideas regards wade :tongue:

I am contemplating on taking my car mods to the next level. I have basic mods like, apexi indeuction kit, brembo discs, blue flame exhausts and a performance chip. I need advise on what stage to go next. I would like the Zed with a bit more power as at times I feel I miss my 928GTS performances. Any recommendations please with anticipated costs and where to get parts etc. Thanks.
