Right guys last help request for the day lol. I am definately going to look at a 300zx tomorrow. It is a fooking age away so I want to check if I can that I will actually fit in one. I am 6'6" tall and quite hefty too :duffer: so I know only too well how wasted a journey can be to find out that I can't get my legs in lol. Is there anyone Bridgwater up who would be willing to let me have a sit in their zx tomorrow morning/lunch time? Tia Guys

Triple gauge installation in the centre console. How easy is it to see them there??? Would the A-post be a better place??? Cheers Phil

Boost gauge is now fitted and it seems that im only boosting to around 7psi. The car is not in safety boost, well no error codes anyway. Possibly a leak somewhere. Getting a compression test done tonight so hopefully it'll not be an expensive thing :(

I have just been out in my Z and while I was going along in 3rd the slowed down to take a turning, there was a loud gurgling and popping noise from un burnt fuel coming from the zorsts I only notice it so bad when slowing down?? Can anybody advise on this before I take it to Z Tech and get them to have a look. I have cleaned the CTS but not the injectors as they look like a right barseward to get at. Thanks in advance. :duffer:

Dear fellow Zed owners, My car is going in to have the auto box looked at very soon. I had it re-built almost a year ago. As the warrantee is about to run out, I want to make sure its running 100% right. But having never driven, or been in another auto zed I've got nothing to compare it with. Mine seems to slip a bit, and be generally, fairly boring (I know your going to say get a manual conversion, but that’s not an option at the moment). I don't know if this is normal performance or not. So my question is: Has anybody, or do you know anybody, in the Cambridge area who has an auto TT zed that I could have a look at to see if mine is ok? It would be a real …

OK, Who has got HIDs fitted? Where did you get them? (links please) Were they easy to fit? Did you have to re-wire them so they stay on with full beam? Thanks, Mike...

Hi I have polished bits in my other cars engine bay, but have noticed that they have began to rust    They way I did it was to use very rough paper and then get gradually smoother until I got to a shiny finish. When I was happy with the way it looked, I used heat resistant lacquer to seal them. As they are now looking pretty dire, I am going to do them again, as well as doing a couple of bits on the Z. What I was wondering is, what is the best way to seal these parts after polishing?? As stated, last time I used an aerosol lacquer, I am now considering translucent powder coating instead. I know people use autosol for polishi…

Hi. I know this is a lot to ask as I have only yesterday joined the forum and don't know anyone yet nut, if there is an impartial member local to knutsford who fancies a trip out to do something tomorrow afternoon then let me know. I am making a long trip up from Somerset to have a looksie at a red tt targa for sale that used to belong to a forum member off of here (Tizer I believe). In all fairness the response I have seen on here to this car is good and the only things the current owner has mentioned as issues seem to be simple and common so I would hope all will be ok :) I have printed off the buyers guide and am armed with a new wealth of knowledge fr…

Hi looking at a 300 zx turbo soon and don't really know a hell of a lot about them (apart from the one I have been in went like :x: ). The current owner has said that the oil pressure gauge wanders quite a bit on start up and occasionaly whilst running. Now on any car I have thought about buying before if this was the case I would run a mile but he claims this to be a guage fault and quite common on 300zx's? Is this the case? If so what would be the best way to check myself? Any other pointers for zx purchasing would be appreciated as well. Tia people. P.S the owner said it belonged to a forum member named Tizer before him. I see there is a Ti…

Hi there mate, it appears you have bought my old 300zx! The car you own is the reason I have mine today, I sold it in a moment of madness for £4500 and have ****ing kicked myself ever since. Check my RIDES pic and you will see her in there along with my black one, the rear spoiler is off a mk5 Escort and the leather came from a car that later went on to complete the gumball! Tintworks in Kingskerswell did the windows and as far as I know the car IS DERESTRICTED. Powewrcraft automotive removed the cats and due to some ******* running a key down her I had the whole car painted (including Nose grey bit) about 14 mths ago. You have what I can only describe as my heart and sou…
