Now, being a novice in styling etc. I need to ask, to achieve a customized Zed, where do you begin ? Do you buy the wheels first and then work round them or do you buy the bodykit first and then the wheels ? Also how much does it cost to buy a full body kit and get it fitted ? Are there specific places or can any bodyshop accomodate ? Finally, to change the colour of the Zed to a completely different one, is this considerably much higher in costs than keeping the same stock colour ? Where is the best place to get a bodykit and wheels ?

Hi all Few weeks time will have all the suspension upgrades done, and the zed will need an MOT(its first one) and full wheel alignment, does anyone know of a good garage in Kent that does both. Also is there anything particular with a zed a garage should know about to do an MOT. Cheers Lee

Only caught a glimse of it it was a silver zed big rims and high level spoiler and was smashed at front, it was on a recovery wagon goin northbound around junc 19 m6 at 9 pn tonight.

Hi Folks, Used to own a 280Z years ago, but I'm new to the world of the 300Z and turbo's but here goes: Picked up my Z yesterday and there are a couple of extra's on it. The guy I got it from imported the car and didn't know what they were and I'm guessing one is a boost controller. See photo (crap I know) - It has a norm/set button that turns from orange to green when pressed, a row of LED's up to 1.4 and then a small dial at the other end with a min and max setting. I assume in Normal mode the car functions as normal. I haven't tried using it yet, but am I likely to notice much difference?. There's also a boost guage stuck on the side of the dash, seems t…

Well my trouble free Z motoring has lasted 50 miles today. 1 hr after collection the power steering high pressure hose from the reservoir to the rack split and i needed recovery from the AA.Thank god i noticed it before the real damage began! As mine is a import NA Is this the same as a UK tt pipe as stocked by Nissan or will i be able to get one easy from a motor factors? If not could you suggest some were. Also any idea of price. Also up near the interior light on the t bar there is a little vent at the end of the unit and all the way to the point of pipe failure it made an irritating clicking sound to the point of distraction. Can someone please tell me why? …

I've done the near side hicas arm OK. Now I've come to do the off side, and when I try and undo it, the near side always comes undone again, no matter how much I do it up, it's always the wrong one that undoes. How can I guarantee that it is the offside that undoes. Really appreciate some help. Cheers, Matt.

Hi guys, Does anyone out there recognise this speedo convertor? It has six wire coming from it: Red Black Green Orange Yellow Blue It has come from a Zed but with no info regarding how it was wired up. I'm hoping it's one that somebody out there has seen before. Ta, Graham.

Just fitted my autogauge stealth 2 boost gauge and went out to see how much more I could wring out of her as the timing was genourous and so was the injector timing on WOT. Turns out either my new gauge is crap or the boost has been raised somehow as the gauge is showing it boosting at 12psi at WOT?? I couldnt see any boost jets when I took a peek and couldnt see any bleed valves. Any Ideas??

sold my zed last week on ebay..only owned it for 6 months and it cost me a fortune! :headvswal it was kinda fast but not that fast - not compared to a ferrari or a porsche - still it was fun..thanks for all your help and advice guys with the car..im signing off this site now that i dont have the zed..good luck with your cars and projects ! :duffer:

they have gone off, well the headlights have, ive tried changing the master switch, that didnt work have checked fuses under bonnet (uk car) they are ok, when i switch them on slowly the main beam flashes slightly is there an earth anywhere that could be corroded or come loose, also when i put them on all the dash lights go dim and a red warning light that says lights comes on for abpout a minute then goes off any ideas cheers Allan

So I got my first shock off and assembled the new one, easy really. Now I'm replacing the hicas arms. Can't get the fecker to remove from the hub assembly , I've removed the nut OK. Any hints on how to do it? Just brute force???? :smash: I've only done my first shock so far! Arse.

From this guide: http://web.ukonline.co.uk/rbagwell/rearshocks.htm come the attached pic. This is what my shocks look like at the top, it says remove the centre nut before you take the shock off, which makes sense as the actuator bracket won't go through the hole. But is this the centre nut that hold the springs on which other guides tell you to take off once your spring comporessors are on? Or is there another nut below holding the spring on? Cheers,, Matt.

:confused: :confused: :confused: Hiya, Newbie here. I dont have a 300, i have a 200 (S14a) and it is an auto. Following on from this thread on the sxoc BB - http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=198213 Does anyone know if i will be able to make a Z32 TT auto box work with an SR engine and Transmission Control Module :confused: I assume i will need new gearbox mounts, a new propshaft - anything else? Hi fellas , this summer is approaching and i am upgrading to BB530 tubbies forged internals balanced bottom end , 555 injectors, greddy intercoolers and some head work maybe with JWT cams and springs , looking for about 400+ rwhp and a good streetable reliable ( if i dare say it ) car is this a reasonable BHP figure to expect or is it consevative or will i get more ?? and is there anyone local to the north west that can do this for me , i would take it to Ryan or gregg at ztech as my first choice but its just the thought of that drive down 4 times ....and i know Ryan would not be too keen to come and pick it up again ,so its swaying me to find a local place ....R…

Is there much price difference between the two chasis? Are two seaters more sort after ? How much roughly would i be looking at for a SWB 92 car, twin turbo of course. Might change plans and try to get one as a weekend car option. Dai
