Hi Just needed a bit of clarification over the different types of dials available on Zeds. Mine is a 1991 Jap TT that has NOT been delimited. It currently has the standard Clocks and shows upto 180KPH, with the boost gauge going from -7 to +7. I bought one of these on fleabay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300-ZX-120-MPH-Speedo-Face-Dial-300ZX-Turbo_W0QQitemZ4621202769QQcategoryZ10402QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem to make it easier to tell how fast I am actually going! I thougt this was a good idea, as it is a straight fit, allows me to read my speed in MPH rather than KPH, but does not need to have the Odometer changed, so the milage stay…

After 15 years of careful ownership, just had some clown put a HUGE dent in my driver's side door while parked. As the car's pearlescent white, I guess a door repair/respray would be difficult to match so am thinking about a full respray. Thought I might add some 99 spec bodykit at the same time so can anyone help me with some recommendations/advice for ..... 1) Sourcing some 99 spec lookalike sideskirts (Wings West seem to be the closest I've seen so far but are there any others that are a closer match?). I've seen that the Z Centre has 99 spec front ends - are there any better out there? 2) If I'm not changing the rear lights or spoiler, can I ke…

After discovering a major problem with my beloved yellow sub, i have been left with no alternative! It is up for sale! So, obviously I'm looking for another! If anyone has one for sale, please please get in touch! I'm not to bothered whether its a TT or NA, would love a shorty, but not set in stone, must be a targa though, not a slick top! Bodywork doesn't have to be immaculate, but engine has to be a good en! I have a limited budget at the moment, probably stretch to £3000, after chucking so much cash at the yellow sub! Oh, its a turbo gone by the way, i think! Its misfiring slightly, although it still runs at full boost??????????? If anyone knows any different and wa…

OK as some of you may know I ripped the thread of my o2 sensor nut. I will be replacing the adaptor with a new one from MJP (thanks again mike). Is there any special tool that anyone can suggest to remove this. The only reason I ask is that it is around a 32mm hex nut but with only a depth of 7mm or so. This means that using a normal socket of the corrrect size isnt of great help as there are countersinks of roughly the same size. Any suggestions?? TIA, Dave G

I have a 1990 300ZX 2+2 N/A auto import. I seem to have a strange noise from underneath when I start up. There is also a grinding noise sometimes when I'm driving. I have concerns it may have something to do with the auto box or maybe the torque converter. I'm relatively new, so wouldn't want to get stitched up when I take it to a garage. Does this sound like a common fault?, if so, could you advise as to what I should hear from a mechanic when I take it to a garage. It may sound like a ridiculous request to some, but I have had work done in the past only to find out later that what they had done had nothing to do with the fault so I ended up spending loads of…

I have just ordered a head unit for Audrey, oh I think I must explain. Audrey is what I have named the motor due to the fact that Audrey Hepburn played the lead in the film My Fairlady, can you see where I'm going with this? Anyway, the car has an aftermarket head unit in it at the moment but its Japanese. What I need to know is will the plugs be the same or does it not have an ISO connection. Cheers, Scrawni.
