hey im going away for 6 months working , my zed is going to be kept in storage ,when i get back im looking to get an engine rebuild but i want to get a wild one like 450-500 bhp re-build do any traders feel like giving me a quote and a little explanation of what you will actually do for the money cheers jim .

Black one turning into sainsbury's emersons green red veilside kitted one going across the dual carridgeway towards longwell green some old codger in a corsa van, who was inturupting me setting up my boost controller LOL ;)

The white one on Shirley high street at about 5.30 Friday heading towards town... (i nearly cried... was so jealous - was in my lil banger - yes im still waiting for the docs from DVLA :headvswal ) But yeah anyway - Sweeeeeeet car! x Then today (Saturday) the redish one heading towards town from St Mary's direction... flaming heck, that was well nice! (p.s... dont ask me road names - I'm useless ... did i mention 'm not originally from the UK :D ) x....gotta love the z....x

i'm in the process of installing the seals i got from Chopper. i've taken the drivers one off & tried fitting it - but for the life of me i can't figure out the A-pillar part between A and B. I can see where its Ment to go - i.e in between the Interior A-pillar trim & body but i cant get it to hold - it just droops down :rant: Any ideas guys before it starts pissing it down?? J

Just wondering if anyone is running a similar set up to my proposed one or if anyone could give me an approx bhp figure for these mods. The car already runs a trust system and k&n panel filter(soon to be changed to apexi intake). To this i would go for stillen headers, underdrive pulley set to release some bhp then from what i have heard a greddy e manage and a trip to thor racing is worthwhile. Would i be right in assuming that these mods on a good healthy lump would see 250 ish @ FW ?

Just wondering where the wastgate actuator valve is located as i have just bought a limited edition black apexi avc-r boost controller and also where do i fit the pressure sensor also when all fitted what boost can i put it up to with out knackering anything up Cheers johnboy

Just driven back from a friend's and the speedometer has given up the ghost. All other gauges are working fine, but speedo is stuck on 0. Consequently the steering has gone heavy, and then the HICAS light came on after I'd driven a mile or so. Now I know I've read something about this before but having done a quick search can't find the relevant thread. Is this going to be down to the speed sensor, or is there something else that might have bought it? And if so where is it, how much is a new one, and how difficult is it to replace? I've got a Series II '93 Manual TT. Strewth, these cars, sometimes, and only sometimes, it does feel like one little thing after another.…

hi guys, when i first got my zed i took out the center console to fit the stereo and found that the the plastic bits which the console fixs to have pretty my shattered and such. any ideas if replacements are available?? cheers

right had a creaking from the front passenger side for a while. which i put down to the upper link arm.... now ive done the usual searching the forum ect i now have a clunk from the same side :headvswal now there seems to be a few culprits which ones are most likely tension bushes? ball joint? swap bar bushes? spring? shock? also the linking bar from the strut to the swap bar i can move the assembly by hand but can't get it to cluck is it normal for a bit of play there?? this is doing my head in and i have an mot looming!! :nelson: thanks guys n gals gaz

This is a hoot. I am in my ZX waiting for the RAC van as i am very sure my clutch cable has snapped. I was fortunate to breakdown next to a house that has an open wireless switch so i can post this message lol. How easy is it to fit a new clutch cable? Thanks.. why when my zed is up to temp, that when i put foot down the temp gauge goes down to cold (not all the way down though) then goes back up again

I was changing the discs and pads on the front the other day and found that the front pass tyre had eaten itself on the inside. I mean EATEN. The rest of the tyre was fine. This is obviously wrong and I need to get it fixed asap. Anyone know how and what it should be? I gave 17 inch Work alloys.
