I've had some number plates done for my car and they look shite  I asked to have the front one 25% smaller as this seems to be a popular choice which would make it about 39cm wide as apposed to 52cm? The one I've got back is 32cm and the lettering is still the same size! Has anyone else had this trouble or is it just me? Can anyone recommend anyone please that does show plates, thanks

Hi all, Have my gearbox off and the inside of the bell housing is covered in sooty oil i can understand the soot due to the clutch but why is it all oily, could this be due the rear main seal!?! What are signs of a failed seal? Cheers.

Hi all, In my Zed I have a Sony CD Changer, model number CDX-5N51W. I think it came from Nissan as an option. Problem is I am missing the cartridge where you put the CD's into. Anyone know where I can get one as there is none on Ebay. Maybe they were only sold in Japan? I could just get a new Changer and Stereo but am just after a quick fix for now. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Justin:)

Hi All, I have looked at all of the posts that appeared when i did a search on Steering Wheel Vibration.. Ok - so by the looks of it mine, which is the steering wheel vibrating at around 60-80mph and when breaking at speed could be the Tracking, Balancing or propshaft bearings. (Had the discs checked when i had my front pads changed).. Just wondered what actually cleared the vibrating up on people cars...what was the outcome? Thanks Ed

....In particular 350z ones. I appear to have clearance issues (between caliper and wheel) after fitting my golds today. I haven't yet received my caliper bolt washers, but don't think this is going to affect the clearance issue! Has anyone else who's fitted Brembo golds (especially from a 350) had problems with caliper clearance? What kind of sized spacers sorted it?? Also, why are there two bleed nipples (feels painful writing that!!)? Does it matter if I bleed the outer or the inner one first? Cheer, ta and thank you very much!

I have inquired into prices for a cam belt change and had quotes from £180 up to over £500. Some are specialists, others like JEM and then the rest good reputable garages. How can there be so much difference. A cam belt is a cam belt, a good mechanic is a good mechanic and a V6 is a V6 (don`t take that literally, lol). Never known such a wide range of prices for a job. Any thoughts?

Seeing there has been a couple of posts up about this mod, I have been thinking what a great improvement it is over the stock orange lights. I'm sure a couple of years ago I saw FAQ on how to do this by putting the lights in the oven etc but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have a link to it? Thanks, Justin

after experimenting with a greddy temp gauge and a hairdryer i have discoverd the sensor reacts fast enough to use as a intake temp gauge. What i need is a boss welded into each hard pipe to take the sensor and have a pair of gauges in the din slot :) one for each bank,so i need to know who can weld me a couple of bosses in my hard pipes. Ime a bit of a fanatic on intake temps as howling on the motorway for long periods i would like to monitor i/c temp plus its a bit more gauge bling :smash:

Hi guys / girls...... firstly what a day yesterday, well pleased with the turnout, had a good day - many thanks to you all, can't wait for the next one.. now down to my question.... On the way home last night my indiglo dials decided to get a mind of their owm ,they started to change colour and brightness all by themselves ( they are the pukka 180mph dials from the club ).... The little control switch things has no effect on the problem, even when I unplug the switch the dials still misbehave, i suspect the invertor is knackered...... does anyone have a spare invertor anywhere, or know where I can get one to power the dials ?? thanks very muc…
