Hi all, In my Zed I have a Sony CD Changer, model number CDX-5N51W. I think it came from Nissan as an option. Problem is I am missing the cartridge where you put the CD's into. Anyone know where I can get one as there is none on Ebay. Maybe they were only sold in Japan? I could just get a new Changer and Stereo but am just after a quick fix for now. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Justin:)

Hi All, I have looked at all of the posts that appeared when i did a search on Steering Wheel Vibration.. Ok - so by the looks of it mine, which is the steering wheel vibrating at around 60-80mph and when breaking at speed could be the Tracking, Balancing or propshaft bearings. (Had the discs checked when i had my front pads changed).. Just wondered what actually cleared the vibrating up on people cars...what was the outcome? Thanks Ed

....In particular 350z ones. I appear to have clearance issues (between caliper and wheel) after fitting my golds today. I haven't yet received my caliper bolt washers, but don't think this is going to affect the clearance issue! Has anyone else who's fitted Brembo golds (especially from a 350) had problems with caliper clearance? What kind of sized spacers sorted it?? Also, why are there two bleed nipples (feels painful writing that!!)? Does it matter if I bleed the outer or the inner one first? Cheer, ta and thank you very much!

I have inquired into prices for a cam belt change and had quotes from £180 up to over £500. Some are specialists, others like JEM and then the rest good reputable garages. How can there be so much difference. A cam belt is a cam belt, a good mechanic is a good mechanic and a V6 is a V6 (don`t take that literally, lol). Never known such a wide range of prices for a job. Any thoughts?

Seeing there has been a couple of posts up about this mod, I have been thinking what a great improvement it is over the stock orange lights. I'm sure a couple of years ago I saw FAQ on how to do this by putting the lights in the oven etc but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have a link to it? Thanks, Justin

after experimenting with a greddy temp gauge and a hairdryer i have discoverd the sensor reacts fast enough to use as a intake temp gauge. What i need is a boss welded into each hard pipe to take the sensor and have a pair of gauges in the din slot :) one for each bank,so i need to know who can weld me a couple of bosses in my hard pipes. Ime a bit of a fanatic on intake temps as howling on the motorway for long periods i would like to monitor i/c temp plus its a bit more gauge bling :smash:

Hi guys / girls...... firstly what a day yesterday, well pleased with the turnout, had a good day - many thanks to you all, can't wait for the next one.. now down to my question.... On the way home last night my indiglo dials decided to get a mind of their owm ,they started to change colour and brightness all by themselves ( they are the pukka 180mph dials from the club ).... The little control switch things has no effect on the problem, even when I unplug the switch the dials still misbehave, i suspect the invertor is knackered...... does anyone have a spare invertor anywhere, or know where I can get one to power the dials ?? thanks very muc…

Read somewhere on the forum (can't remeber where now) that it's better to have the overdrive OFF on an automatic around town, as it saves petrol by reducing gear changes. Is this true? I kinda thought the opposite.. Something i saw on the net (e-tyres.co.uk): "-- Use overdrive gears. Overdrive gears improve the fuel economy of your car during highway driving. Your car's engine speed decreases when you use overdrive. This reduces both fuel consumption and engine wear. Most automatic transmission cars will have an overdrive button right on the gearshift. Look for a "D" and/or "O/D". You will see a light on the dash indicating weather it's on or off. Check your own…

Hello all! Im having the horrible rear spoiler removed & the tailgate smoothed & resprayed! I know there is a skin that you can buy, but that gives a slight lip & I don't want that! I want it smoothed off, but others I have seen have a black strip across the back (above the rear lights).... Do I need to order this part & where can I get it from!? Do some of them house the rear brake light too!? Thanks in advance

  25. as per the subject really, its an 04 m3 i was in and it felt really fast, faster than my zed, but the owner said it had 343bhp from the book so i am reading that as flywheel. My zed shouold be around that bhp to be honest so weight aside, why doesnt it feel as fast (talking really the acceleration not top speed...) Any ideas on what i can do cheaply to get it faster? (ive got a profec so going to be tweaking it to get the full boost quicker so more of a kick...) Or am i dreaming in hoping to get m3 type performance from a stage 1 / 2 zed?
