Hi there, I was rather hoping someone could help me out here..... I have a 91 Jap import auto Fairlady, derestrictor chip, cone air filter and twin Bailey dump valves, I have removed both cats and both centre boxes (replaced with stainless) and have Kakimoto rear boxes. She boosts at 11 psi and holds and I run her on SUPER UNLEADED so?????? Waht do we think the BHP might be, I have no idea and would appreciate any educated guesses as shes hitting the rollers on the 18th and they want an "owners estimate" before hand. Be cool Jase :)

Hi I've always wanted a 300ZX and I guy I know is selling one. It's a 1989 G Plate Twin Turbo Automatic Fairlady. Does anyone know anything about these? ie is it a good one or is it the one to steer clear of? Oh and I have been on http://www.confused.com for an insurance quote and it came back very high. Have to say thanks to Scubie again; as he has just fitted a nice set of HID's to the Zed and what a differance it makes. My wifes J-Spec TT is very slow to start. Can take about 10 seconds before it fires up. It turns over fast enough, i.e battery is giving plenty Any ideas?

me wheels have a plastic pop in centre, can you get these with a zed logo on em ?

Hi all, I really need a bit of help... I've snapped my rear steering arm and partialy snapped my rear wishbone on the drivers side. I managed to limp to a garage but i desperately need parts. I doubt i can move the car very far without the rear wheel colapsing. so it looks like i'll need to get that garage to do the repairs as they are kindly letting me keep the car there. I need to get parts asap can anyone recomend anywhere to get them from? Thanks Scorpio (Mike)

Hi guys, has anyone put a 99 spec bumper on a uk? My bumper is pretty poor and I fancy a 99 spec one. I'd also loke to wire in a set of fogs and relocate my indicators as per J spec. I'm fine about the wiring, just want to know what bits I need to phisically make it fit. Thanks in advance,

hey guys, the newest of problems today. I've put a post on here before about this but noone semed to have a clue so i checked all the usual stuff and it was all fine - then it stopped misbehaving :) Basically sometime after i stop the engine having had the lights on, the drivers side full beam comes on after i've left the car. Its stayed on all night and day this time and i now have a flat battery. Anyone got any ideas or maybe seen this before? I haven't a clue. All i know is if i drive it for a bit with the lights on then turn em off. The full beam stays off for a while. i'm lost. PLEASE HELP!! Rich :headvswal

Can anyone tell me if the exhaust has much bearing on performance? I have 5" pipes and my father in laws zed with small bore twin pipes is more responsive - seems to pick up more quickly. We both have induction kits but I don't think there are any more mods on either car ( I don't really know what to look for ). Any ideas?

now where does this tend to sit whilst driving mine hangs around 4 or just below when going along but in traffic stop start was going down nr 0, this because engine idleing? or somthing more sinister, plenty of oil in it no leaks etc. not had zed long so i dunno what the norm is. also when it is cold back end vibrates a little but once warm it dont do it, car has been stood for ages will this be cause? thanks

Just noticed on the adhesive spray its heat resistant to 50 Degs C. Is that good enough to use? Personally I cant see it getting that hot but when cars bake in the sun I dont know what the leatherette temp rises to?

well as some of you know i blew my intercooler up last month. i decided to take my intake pipes off to get her home this weekend (turning her into a n/a!) turned her on and started fine, went to pull off and the engine started hunting up and down.... put my foot down, went to about 3000rpm... started to cough and then cut out.. now she will start but just, and then cuts out after a while of strugling. :cry: anyone have any idea's? im quite clued up on cars but this has got me 100% stumped! :headvswal

Anyone know how this Avator picture thing works? Everytime i try to upload one, it tells me its to big! So i resize the picture and still it tells me its to big, even when the picture is the size of a bleedin pin head!

I spent more or less the entire afternoon today experimenting with the Zed and it finally worked ! I fitted some Vectra tailgate gas struts to the bonnet of my Zed today and wow what a lift ! It shoots up like a jack in the box ! Now taking this one step further, I removed the bonnet latch & safety mechanism and fitted a heavy duty contact solenoid off an E Class Merc's boot latch mechanism. This took a bit of modding as had to make room for it. I then wired up my alarm to the solenoid and now at the press of a button on my remote the frigging bonnet opens by itself ! Ha ! Ha! Ha! Now my next task is to see if I can close the bonnet with the touch of a button. This is…

Anyone know where i can get a cheap set of brake discs(front) Just had the pads done and now they're squeeling like buggery every time i pull to a stop! Its driving me crazy!

I noticed that the motor has one wire connected to it. I take it this is the power. So would this mean that when you fix the thing to the side of the gearbox? that, that is where it gets it's grounding from? Just asking this because I was trying to yank the ******* of the one that is connected on there but couldnt take it off so I thought I'll connect the new one without bolting it up. Of course the car didnt turn over though. So is it because of this?
