My traction control has stopped working since fitting the new digital adjuster and can't work out if its a faulty adjuster or the serial port on the TC box has stopped responding. Need someone to plug a laptop in with the Racelogic software and check it's communicating. I'd do it myself but my laptop motherboard died last week :( Anyone in the Leeds/Harrogate area this weekend?

Hi, My car seems to pull to the left when I brake. There is a bit of a crease in the brake line on the passenger side. Would this be the problem? The other side seems to be fine. Bart

Hello Again!!! Good Friday all!!! Ok - do i buy a new panel air filter or induction kit for my TT? Which is better? Will i lose any low down torque with an induciton kit? Also those Rubber pipes and the front of the engine 4 pipes? I see a lot of peeps have replaced these with S/S pipes - (or chrome??) Can anyone tell me what are? do they serve any purpose rather than looking better? Thanks Ed

Question? I you had a few thousand pounds to spend on your engine and suspension and brakes how would you spend it? This is my dilemma! I am in the process of uprating the appearance of my 300zx lwb j-spec to the tune of around 12k and I find I have a tad left over. It has the usual after market exhaust, air filter and jwt chip but the problem is a I know what I like the look but I am befuzzled as what to do with the rest. please help me with your ideas.

I'm sure you have heard this before, but i was offered 2 sets of brake discs ie. front and rear from my local Nissan dealer. He wants 280 euro for the front pair and 184 euro for the rear pair. Is this a reasonable price or should i be buying aftermarket items such as 3G or Brembo etc. I thought they sounded cheap but I'm not sure :)

I am a bit confused here thus someone please elaborate. I have a stock spoiler with the black strip going underneath it from end to end. Now if I was to fit a perspex cover, will that replace the strip or will I need to get rid of the entire spoiler for it to fit. Basically, that damn strip is a nuisance and I have replaced it a few times but it always seems to look kak as it bubbles up etc. I need to find a solution to this. Thanks.

Have a Cobra 7925 on the silver zed, but in need of instruction manual for all its functions and setup. Anyone know of an online Manual or have one themselves they would'nt mind scanning the important pages from ? I think the 7925 and 7928 are very similar, but most Cobra alarm functions are controlled in the same way.

Hi   As she is off the road for a month or so for improvments, I have decided to do some rust protection. All the interior panels are off so I thought it right to treat her to a good coat of interior waxoyling :) On my other car, I paid a professional guy 300 pound to do this, so I thought I would give it a crack myself this time as I would rather put that money into a new set of rear lights  Have any of you guys done this to your Zeds?? If so, is there any pitfalls or places I need to concentrate on??? I was also gutted to find that my boot has been leaking from the drivers side rear light of all places   It has rusted q…

Hi all. As car has been parked up on the drive over the last few (3) COLD weeks without moving I have noticed white "salad cream" like substance on my oil filler cap. Now I have recently had a new engine in which has only done about 800 miles since full rebuild. I have been assured that all genuine Nissan gaskets and parts have been used. What do you guys think it could be, condensation in the engine due to not driving it, or somthing more sinister like the head gaskets going etc? Had all sorts of trouble with her from the start so hope it is nothing. Fingers crossed.

After some work on my engine, I have reconnected my boost controller (Profec E01) : with BC off, I reach 20 psi ! NC is connected to compressor outlet, COM is connected to the WG top port and WG low port is connected to intake manifold. I have tried different places to take the boost (intake manifold, compressor outlet, ...) or tried 2 different places for the low and top ports, but no difference. The 3 solenoids ports (COM, NC and NO) work perfectly. With BC off, NC is really closed : I have to disconnect the WG top port to reach my natural WG preset ~10 psi. Why do I have 20 psi when I simply connect WG top ports to the closed NC port ? It's crazy !…

im looking for a car lift but cant decide whether to go for a 2 or 4 post. the only disagvantage i can see with the 2 poster is the fact that you couldnt track the wheels easily because the posts are in the way and the weight isnt supported on the wheels. the four post lift could prove to be a pain in the arse when welding and stuff because the ramps are normally wide and bulky. can any one fill me in with some other pros and cons of each? and also if you know of one for sale? will consider single or 3phase. Cheers, Fraser
