:rolleyes: Hi guys. Can anyone tell me the best thing to remove cheap aftermarket badges? Y'now, the type with that nasty sponge tape stuff. One colleague suggested lighter fluid. I'm not convinced. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello chaps Ive been working on my N/A Zed the last month or so and im finding out things i didnt realise .. firstly i when it broke down and Mark (topless) fixed it :bow: :bow: he said i have a 96 CAS unit, Injectors and other various bits.. ive checked the seatbelts which say 93 .. but everything else is pointing to 96.. incl the loom .. is there any tell tale signs that i could look for to see what year my car is, as its driving me nuts when i have to order bits John

I just took the Z out for a drive and noticed it was very rumbly and growly and every time I dropped down a gear it was popping and gurgling?? Also I noticed it hesitated before it shot off, like when I put my foot down on the accelerator there was a hesitation before launching forward?? I stopped off at a mates for a while then when I got back into the Z and started it it started then died, I tried starting it a few times and nothing apart from a strong smell of petrol then it started fine?? But the fumes coming out of the zorsts where very rich of petrol. I checked my new braided fuel lines to see if they wher leaking but no smell of petrol around them at all. It was gu…

hen fittin thee engine back into me motor 2 years after i took it out and put it in my front room are their any mods i should do to refit with td05 16g turbos a chap i spoke to was adamant that i had to cut the inner chasis legs or inner engine bay out a little and refabricate the panel not a problem really just he"s never owned a zed :( so im not too sure of what he was on about is true anyone know anything? :)

Hi all, My car is smoking really hard when I leave the foot off the accelerator. For example in downhill it makes clouds of white smoke…at least it seems white from the rear viewer. When boosting I can’t find no traces of smoke whatsoever. I recently installed aftermarket downpipes and testpipes…about 300 miles. I checked compression recently and it was within acceptable levels. Boost hold on just fine and the car is performing as “normal”. I’ve checked oil and there is no sign of contamination….the level it’s ok. Water level is also ok and no signs of oil. Anyone care to help?

Hi Guys / Girls..... has anyone had any dealings with THOR Racing in Coventry...... the reason I ask is because i went with my mate to Rogue Systems with his MR2 turbo for a service, THOR is just round the corner so we asked if they could wire in his Blitz boost controller and then set it up for him which they did...... the guy who set it up wasn't very helpful and didn't speak hardly and we really had to probe him deep for any sort of conversation. I already had mine booked in for a 2 hour session end of march to set up APEXI AVC-R and AFC-II and RSM. Is there any difference between whiteline and stillen ones? i.e Adjustability? My Z is currently getting KYB and Eibach shocks/springs and also Adjustable front control arms and Tension rods fitted. Once this is done it will require 4 wheel alignment. Ideally i would like to wait and fit sway bars after a couple of months just so i could feel any difference they make after i am used to the new suspension but would i need to get wheel alignment done again after they are fitted?

Evenin all!! Had my car out today, and she was idlein for bout 10 min and i seen smoke comin from the cats, it was strange cause they seemed to dump smoke every 10 seconds or so as if they were buildin up with pressure, but yet no smoke was comin out of the rear pair! I have de-cats to go in her but my rear seals are not excactly factory spec anymore :( and was afraid if i put the de-cats in i would blow the seals completly!! Any idea why this is? Or is it simply the cats are justed choked up!! Cheers :)

I am thinking of replacing the winow/roof seals on the Zed. They don't leak but are really scratty looking.(Somewhere along the line someone :xxx: has painted them black (with a brush!!!!) in an atemptto tidy them up) Has anyone done them and how hard is it? I don't want the car to end up looking better but leaking like a sieve :) Thanks for the power of knowledge

Hi all, I've got a Laserline alarm fitted to my 300, up till now its been fine - but recently the key fob doesn't activate the alarm, i've fitted a new battery to the fob & still nothing. Although i can still activate/deactivate the alarm by the Touch Key. Just wondering if anyone knew of any alarm electricians i can call in Kent? J

Bought my Zed on fleabay at rock bottom price. Dispite the rear diff giving up less than a week later.................... :headvswal it has run sweet as a nut ever since. Since doing a bit of research, I have discovered the car came with: Modena Ferrari replica wheels A 900 pound stainless exhaust A 600 pound stereo, which I now know is connected to a Kenwood amp with Kenwood speakers throughout Original Titanium Key (I now have a spare as well!) :tongue: Rear Spoiler is in PERFECT condition, with no cracks at all Full tools and owners manual included todays little discovery is a Navan Automatic Gear Knob!!! :dance: YEAH! Just fitted my digital adjuster to the existing TC unit and had a quick mess about with it but it doesn't seem to save any of the changes I make if I turn the ignition off. I presume it should do or it's pretty useless.... Any ideas?

Hello, you can I know if my turbo are dead? Since I'e rebuilt my engine (forged piston and rod), my engine is making more smoke than my tyres :headvswal I've to seperate exhaust line and the one on driver (europeen) is making the smoke. My car is still running really great and powerfull. My admission is dry (o trace of oil). What can it be please?

due to the tt having a bigger flywheel i take it the starter is different also?
