Think of fitting some Mazda RX8 wheels, my question to you is will they fit?

I know a few guys here have broke their car for parts, what i want to know is,,,,, is it really worth it? im at a loss with mine now, and cant see how i can afford to get it fixed, so i'm considedring at the moment to splitting it for parts. if anyone could let me know how much they got and how long it took, ill appreciate you may want to reply by pm just a thought right now as totally totally fed up. i love this car, but its bringing me no good luck at all

OK I am a very picky guy when it comes to my cars. I always want everything to be spot on. The targa seals were leaking a tiny spot of water now and again on the passengers side. I then replaced the seals up and around the targa seals with new ones from Andy Z from SuperCar Parts. Noticed that when I went to the car wash etc there was a lot more water coming through than before, but I just assumed that it was my fitting of the seals. After looking at the seals it is my fault I think and need some sort of glue come sealant stuff to help stick down the trim to the body as it is slighty raised in parts which caused the leakage. I recently imported a 1990 80K tt,for the first week no problems at all,i get the alarm fitted taken it down the paint shop to book it in to get it looking perfect,takes it to the exhaust shop and here is where it goes all wrong. I have a system fitted from the down pipes back removing the cats,next day the thing is blasting out light blue smoke on tickover :headvswal.Ive read the seals in the turbos have gone weak and by the reduce in back pressure is what is causing the smoke,so if i replace the cats will it cure the problem or am i looking at replacing the turbos?

Anyone used black wire mesh in their aftermarket bumpers? Barry

Now, before everyone thinks I've gone crazy and lost the plot, just hear me out on this one. Back in the 80s when the punk look and leg warmers and leotards were in fashion, some of us (not all) tinted out our Capris, XR2s and Mantas front headlamps with this shinny stuff that you sprayed on. While the lights were off they gave a mirrored look. Any ideas what that spray or tint was called ?

Hey guys, just bought some beautiful 17" wheels from wheelmania. They are second hand and were originally on a Supra. The tyres are, 235-front 255-rear The guy has told me I'm gonna need spacers for the front pair 10-15mm thick? Is this right as sounds like a lot? Also will I need longer bolts for this? Ta in advance

Hi All :cool: I know this is VERY much a long shot but............ Does anybody know where I can buy a set of centre caps and the holding pins for the Autostrada Modena Ferrari Replicas??? I have one cap and pin left, but the missing wheels are really starting to bother me :( :( :( Even a good replacment set would be fine. Does anyone know any alternatives or ANY caps and pins that would fit? Even longar shot, but if anyone wants to part with theres I would pay silly money for a set. Anyway, any help as always is very much appreciated :bow:

Hello, I'm from holland and drive a 300zx TT LWB and yes I've got a problem :( A week ago my car wouldn't start. Appears that my positive side of the battery was loose. I reconnected the cable and started the car. Problem now is that my "Check Engine" light came on and the car drives like shit. And when I only turn my key on +15 my fuelpump starts to prime, but when I take out my keys completely.. IT STILL KEEPS PRIMING. It won't stop till I start the car. :wack: I went to the dealer and did a Conzult check.. No problems there. "check engine" light came off, so I was pleased... BUT.. At some point my car has a boost controller in and i have two plugs on the main loom 1 either side of the engine by the suspension mounts i cannot find anywhere they plug in, (I belive they are actuator plugs) anyway the only thing i can think of now is to put a boost controller back in as im worried about these plugs so which boost controller would you go for??? cheers Craig
