300bhp in the wet has caused me no end of trouble recently. Want to try and stabilise the traction at the back a bit so i can stop driving it like an old granny with a micra everytime it starts spitting! Im thinking new rear tyres - any suggestions on make/model chaps?? Got any other ideas? I fail to believe you can run 500 brake+ engines and only drive them in the summer! Cheers Mark

i have managed to get a new set of the fiamm ferrari dual tone airhorns with the small tube compressor. there is also a relay with them and all the pipe work. if i use the live and neutral/earth feed off one of the old horns onto the bottom two spade connectors on the comprerssor is that fine? i take it i wouldnt need the relay then as the old horns go through a fuse and relay already? im going to fit today, just need to know that is ok?

Got my Z TT Auto last August and it needs the full works - cambelt, liquids etc etc. Also want some new performance plugs and air filter. Does anyone know of any good garages that will do the work near Bromley/Beckenham/Croydon in Kent??? Id love to get it to ZTech but it wont start at the mo and the RAC have no clue whats wrong with it. This means ill be dropping it off there from the back of a truck! Cheers Mark

Hi, Are the side windows actually tinted?? If so - not very much - and how do we determin the tint - for example - is it related to the colour of the windscreen sunstrip tiny (in my case blue)? Or related to the body colour (in my case red)? Or is the data in the VIN? Need to replace the drivers side window urgently and need some help guys? AndyGP :bow:

Where the best place to get a set of standard turbos reconditioned, just got a quote of A.R Turbos of between £120 to £395+vat each these are authorised by Garrett with a 3-4 day turn around.

Now don't laugh at my lack of mechanical knowledge guys..(yeah right..) but I have a suspension question... I am thinking of changing the suspension on my car. I will need new shocks so that is simple but what elso do I need to buy? I gues the big springy things round the shocks will need to go if I want to lower her slighly!!! I want to do it as cost effectively (cheap..) as possible so will likely get shocks from Luke but what else would you guys recommend??? See I told you I was mechanically challenged??? Oh yeah...and what are coilpacks and what do they do?...lololol :x:

Is there a link here for a DIY in replacing front stabilizer bushes. My steering right now is kak and need to do this asap I am told. Infact, what do these things look like and where fu*k are they meant to be ? Can anyone post a pic or drawing or something as I don't want to take the wrong thing off ! I've Got A 4.6 V8 Twin Turbo Engine From A Corvette, Will It Fit Into A Zx Twin Turbo?

Hi, Im looking at 300zx's at the moment (twin turbo), although I don't wanna spend more than 3.5k, and want something un-modified ideally. I'm off to look at a swb version advertised on the autotrader website tomorrow evening, any ideas of stuff I should be looking for to make sure I don't get a lemon? (other than the usual paperwork, service history, etc). I'm new to z's so any advice would be great! Rob

Im trying take my wipers off to re-spray. ive took the nut covers off removed the bolts what else is their remove? cos i just cannot get them off, or at least not without busting the scuttle trim which i dont want to do :wack: has anyone any tips thanks in advance si

this is starting to get anoying. once the ar has warmed up and i stop the revs drop then nearly stall then go up to like 1300-1400rpm. so this defo aint idling right. any ideas

its fine when its cold but once the car has warmed up and i stop at a junction for example and put in neutral, it wont go into first without using force. i know this aint normal but please some advice im worried now

Has anybody else got AVS alloys on they seem quite common on imports , or has anybody fitted Pirelli P Zero.s on there zed ???? The reason i,m asking is after having my alloys refurbished i fitted Pirelli P Zero,s all round , i knew my tracking was out so i got it into work and did a 4 wheel alighnment , rear track was slightly out and the front alot out , camber and castor was in tolerance , sorted the tracking , job done i thought. When driving now at slow speeds my car seems to want to follow every bump and hollow in the road , the steering pulls from side to side trying to follow the undulations in the road surface , its quite alarming Would wheels with the wr…
