New wheels for the red z

Hi all, Got another issue with the Zed. I picked it up from Lee's on Sat, ran like a dream all the way home. However, after leaving it over night in the rain (as I have no garage), I went for a drive on Sunday (nice weather). I got 2 miles down the road and it started revving erratically and then just cut out completey and would not restart. I had to get the breakdown people out. After spraying a bit of quick start we finally got it going again and he was following me home. It cut out again about half way back and again wouldn't start for about a further 45 mins. As the title what do you guys recommend, currently I have the hks mushroom filter which so far hasn't given me any wet weather issues, but I want to change it. Don't see many apexi induction kits for the zed these days so need ideas but not a cheap eBay kit

Just wanted to thank everyone that's helped me get my zed back on the road, took her to eurospec in Slyfield today to have a chat and book her in for a health check. Feels great to drive it again!

Hi I want to get more hp from my n/a and what's best to upgrade. Was looking at twin turbo but been mucked about and decided to stick with this one more help/advice will be greatly appreciated

not sure if anybody has changed or modified theirs, but it seems these are no longer available from nissan, my car has failed the mot on a number plate light not working, and on inspection today one of the terminals inside the light has broken off. anybody else had to change them for a different type? i really want to keep to stock looking, maybe a LED version. my car is jap import if it makes a difference

i know its a engine out job to replace the turbos. has it been done with the engine in have been reading a few online that say its been done, has anyone on here done it just wondering

Picked my Zed up yesterday after 3 weeks with Lee. Just wanted to say a massive thanks for all the work he and his team put into getting it running the way it should. She now drives like a dream and has a lot more umph about her:thumbup1: After only owning it for about 3 or 4 weeks before I dropped it off I was really unaware just how good a Zed is as mine was running horribly! The timing was way out, there was a very nasty oil leak and the previous owner had done many botch up jobs on the wiring front. Lee also threw in a couple of extras to make it look better too! Thanks again Lee:thumbup:

Hoping some one has a na subframe and a can take a quick look for me. The question I have is about the bolt holes for the rear track rods (hicas on TT). Are they elongated like an oval or slot or are they round? just trying to inderstand if my recent combination of drifting and a kerb has damage the frame. Thanks!

hi all hope some one came help n/s window not working ,i can power window up with power prob so motor ok,if i prop switch live ok on lift and live ok on down side of switch when pressed but no earth on switch points in any pres of switch can any one tell me were are the earth points are it got power in the wright places but no negs,just as if there a bad earth

Just got back from coventry motofest. They closed the ring road and created a sprint track. just had the rear crank seal replaced still leaking garage going to do it again but this time there going to replace seal plate as well hope this stops it leaking this time any tip welcome thanks

Anyone know where I can get matte black vac pipe ? I hate the shiny pvc stuff on ebay and prefer the oem style. I need to replace all my washer pipe aswell as some other pipes and prefer the oem look.

i went to a charity track day this afternoon, I got an opportunity to take the Z out on track, jumped at it, I only did about 5 laps, but I was very impressed with how the car handled, what I loved was the fact that 8 of my 12 grandchildren {i know} were there watching. I just hope somebody got a picture that I can post up. Better still, I met another Z owner with her car, yes another woman, and most definitely the best looking Z owner I have ever met, she a glamour model and has her own model agency, and her car is lovely too, 93, blue TT manual.

New to this forum but have owned z32's for 15 years now..... located in the US, not the UK ;) I have an issue currently with my oil filter tree. My z is a 1990 TT chassis, with a "JDM" motor installed recently. I'm truly not sure which oil filter tree I have on my z. The "mechanic" installed the oil pressure sending unit into the tree in order to utilize the stock harness (U.S. passenger side), but the tree doesn't have the "spout" for the oil cooler line. I'm starting to think I have a EURO spec oil filter tree, or perhaps a 97-99 JSPEC motor, etc. The oil filter tree has the 2 check ball valves in it (unlike the NA trees which don't have these check valv…

Im looking for another key for my ZX. When I bought it it only had the black key that seems to work in the drivers door, boot and ignition. doesnt seem to work in the passengers door or glovebox. Hi Guys , after a hard drive, engine cut out at junction, started easy enough, then once home, tickover went erratic, dropping to about 500rpm then revving to about 1200 rpm then down again. 300 TT auto, 1991 standard everything

So what's the crack with UK front seatbelts, are they longer than jap ones to accommodate us more portly chaps. I find my jap belts on the snug side was going to send them away for refurb and extending a little.
