Hi I need a front brake pipe Thats the hard bake pipe about 15cm long that is fixed to the back of the front brake caliper. I dont think it matters much which year or if the Z is Jap or UK, I believe they are all the same. Anyone who is braking a car should be able to help me ?? Either I can come over and whip it of or if you can do it that would be great. For cash of course. pmme

My front passenger side wheel is squeaking and its driving me crazy! It started a few weeks ago and has gradually got more annoying and slightly more persistant. It used to be only when braking and then just after (so was thinking maybe slightly sticky caliper on that side?) but now is all the time the car is straight or turning left. As soon as i turn right it stops (so fine on islands!), unless im braking and turning right. When driving straight or turning left the squeak is speed dependant and it sounds to me like the disc that side might be warped and its only catching every rotation? Is there an easy way to tell if its brakes or wheel bearing?…

Three days ago my Z started displaying two intermittent problems - I assume both may be related and both appear to be electrical The Central locking has stopped working completely - Have tried my spare keys and no difference - so I know it's not the battery in the fob Have to lock and un-lock by Key - The Immobiliser cut out also requires two key fob clicks and that seems to still work - although somewhat hit and miss if I'm impatient with it Face off stereo - works ok - CD Player only - Radio is crap anyway - drive around for varying lengths of time - all appears ok - then an almighty feedback squeeling noise - much louder than the volume is set a…

Hi mate, Saw you posted this recently: I am registered to make no plates ie We have a License and Reg no logged with DVLA I think you will find as long as the font used on the plate is of the legals size etc the only other restriction is that the "personalised" portion of the plate must be no more length than "168mm x 20mm" any text in this area is to be non offensive and must include the plate manufacturers post code ! The plate must also bear the BSAU mark but that is not included in the designated are, that is usually printed on the acrylic somwhere. The law on plates is a mine field and will get worse. IE: Full Vin no will be on ALL no plates in the near futur…

Thanks to those who aided my search for a Z (I didn't go for the import with the possible propshaft problem) I'm now the proud owner of a black, stock '93 UK TT. I'll post some pics once I've taken them - the recent rain has left it covered in a layer of dust :( I've just bought some PIAA silicon wipers (as recommended by speedemon) and a replacement scuttle trim (don't worry I didn't pay the £300 Nissan wanted for the parts!). Next on my hitlist are some new wheels, ICE (nothing works right now) and a re-trim. I was wondering if anyone knew of good places around Reading or surrounding areas for ICE and an interior re-trim. On the whole the trim is in great…

I have had a profec II B boost controller fitted by a zed garage but they did not do the unit settings as they dont have enough experience with it. Can someone please provide settings for the lowest possible boost for good economy and another for 9psi boost. I am being conservative with settings until i get my ECU chip changed. I have read what kirbz's settings are but they dont match what i want.

the baffles in my centre box are going as it rattles when revved, will this be causing extra backpressure and can the centre box be removed and just have straight through pipes, or is the centre box used for balancing backpressure and will need replacing? Thanks Peeps

Hi Guys, I nearly always use the same petrol garage, a BP garage just round the corner from where I live. I have noticed that when I fill up my car with BP ultimate the petrol pump keeps clicking as if my petrol tank is full. Every time I get petrol, im fighting with it to get it to work properly. More often than not, I have to gentlty sqeeze the trigger in order for it to work, but takes ages to fill up more car! I have filled up elsewhere ages ago and didnt have these problems. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Would it be their pumps or something to do with my petrol filler?
