Oh and I am sure I felt my car skip to one side a couple of times at high speed (could be the crap roads around here), yes I have checked everything underneath and all is fine (well in place and not loose).

As some of you know, my one turbo is fooked and I'm looking at uprating them. Has anyone got a T25/T28 hybrid fitted? If so, what kind of boost are you producing? I hope to run at 12-14psi. Dont want the OEM ones anymore cos I hear thats at the top of their range. I understant the T28s will spool up slower, but will it be very noticeable? Thanks for your help! :) Andrew

Having taken from the middle of january to the middle of May to replace my f@cked engine and turbos and then sort out various other problems Anglia Engine Services decided that the best thing to do when the engine then overheated was to send the car over to the suppliers of the engine, Nippon Spares, for them to replace it again and carry out the job. Compared to that prick at Anglia Engines Nippon have been very good, in a month they have replaced the engine, disconnected my heater matrix (perished pipe I cant afford to have that job done now), sorted out a water flow problem, sorted out a idle problem and everything was fine until engine check light comes on. They find …

my front right brake has started leaking fluid! had the wheel off and can see its coming from where the brake pipe meets the caliper, the screw that holds it in looks like its been cross threaded, my mate suggested getting a new brake pipe but im wondering if thatll make any difference? not sure why its suddenly decided to start leaking now, i have considered just melting metal round it, emetal or whatever its called i know someone who could do that. any thoughts? need to get it sorted soon as its leaking brake fluid onto the discs :( which is a bit dodgy, and its splattered on the paint on the arches and stained it. j

You may have seen my other thread about my wheel shake. I took my baby to have the tracking/camber wheel alignment done. Not as bad as I thought it was but both the front and rear camber is out, the rear adjustment is seized so they didn't do that and obviously there's no adjustment on the front. The rears were only just out but the fronts need doing (or so they said), so the question is do I get adjustable camber arms or change all the shocks?

Hi all, I'm sure this is a common problem with Z's, where for what ever reason the idle will just suddenly increase when the car is fully warmed up. I just want some input on reasons you have found for this and what can be checked out using a Conzult/Datascan. Boost leak - Boost Leak Detector Faulty temp sensor TPS voltage - Conzult Closed Throttle switch (should be on at idle) - Conzult Malfunctioning/sticky (IACV-)FICD valve - Conzult Malfunctioning/sticky IACV regulator - Needs to be checked manually Malfunctioning/sticky (IACV-)AAC valve - Conzult Cheers Vijay

I'm about to get my clutch changed as soon as the rps arrives from Smithy. I have also bought some phnw decat pipes to be fitted at the same time. My Z is an import, has done 63k miles and has stock turbos. I do have one leaky pcv valve that makes the drivers side pipe smoke for about 30sec on starting very very intermittantly. Other than that it has been running 14psi for a year no probs. Is there a way of decatting without running as much risk, ie putting in small boxes on the pipes to give some pressure (i decatted my rover and the replacement pipe had a box built into it)? No problems with that car at all. I have been told by at least 5 people that…
