Just a quickie, I want to put a manual immobiliser switch into the fuel pump circuit. Have got the plate off inside the boot and there are 5 wires going into the tank. Anyone know which ones are for the pump, I'm assuming the pump is in the tank. It's a 94 jap n/a, ta.

tried fitting the 905 belt and it squeals like a banshee - and pas pump its at it furthest setting so need a shorter belt Got a 863 (about 4cm shorter - that should mean if i can slacken the pump all the way i should be able to wind it on about half way in the slide bolt. it dont fit - I cant get the slide bolt to pass even half way along its travel - adjuster is undone all the way but pas pump will only move a fraction. Ive tried drifting it slightly with some wood but cant get the slide bolt half way along the travel any ideas - what length belts have you fitted? Cheers

The clifford manual says that to do remote central locking on a 91 import zed you need to add a door motor to the drivers side. But it doesnt tell you where to do put it. Could anyone please give a description of how to attach the door motor or a picture? If you could that would be great. Thanks, Al

Job for this weekend is to replace my rear shocks and the hicas arms. Does anyone have any experience of these jobs that would like to share any tips? It doesn't look too technical, maybe just a time consuming job. I am also guessing that I will need to get the rear wheels aligned after fitting the hicas arms? Thanks for any pointers Gareth

After having a air pipe to the PCV valve blow out and spray oil all over my engine, have oil coming out the exhaust? When I boot it, smoke comes out, especially when changing gear when it comes off boost. Would this just be oil in the exhaust burning off? Though I have done a few miles since my PCV problems. Dont seem to be burning oil, checked level.

I've been reading what people prefer as their front/rear tyre pressures, but one thing has always puzzled me. If the pressure is there to support the wieght of the car then why does the wider rear tyre need more pressure in it than the front? Even with a 50/50 front/rear weight split then the rear would need less pressure as it's acting over a larger area???

As above. I've been on the search for any link that shows or explains a little on how to but aint had any luck yet. Could someone please give me a little light on this matter. I did just find out that you can by-pass with the dash in but nothing further on how to. I have got someone getting me sorted out with a matrix but am desperate to be on the road with her without having to keep an eye on the temperature gauge all the time. Could anyone help me??

I've seen these on ebay and just wanted your opinions please - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-96-300ZX-TT-TWIN-TURBO-T28-UPGRADE-TURBOS-Z32-630-HP_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQitemZ8076048845QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V I know nothing about turbos but claims like 'THEY SUPPORT OVER 600 HORSEPOWER' and 'these will push up to 30 psi' makes me suspicious. Has anyone ever heard of T25's being able to fit T28's centers? The seller has really good feedback too

Hope somebody can shed some light into my dim head on this one :o It relates to this thread..... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=73675&highlight=clutch+fork I have now got the box back out and after a phonecall I have taken the clutch apart for checking (a stupid move as it took me ages to line up properly) I just need confirmation that its going back in the correct order as I have searched the web and only come out with a guide for a RX 7 which looks wrong for our cars. Tell me what you recon, do the pics look like the correct sequence? Thanks
