hey, just wondering whether anyone can reccommend a front bumper to go with the side skirts of my 300zx. I looks a bit wierd from the side because the side skirts sit lower than the front so something that would be the same sort of distance from the ground to match the side! Jim.

Hi Guys I def need new tyres. My current tyre speed is Q, which is max of 99mph. Plus they're snow tyres :( Been looking at the Falken FK452's from falkentyres.co.uk Has anyone bought from them? Also, they dont seem to have a rim protector! Can anyone verifty this or recommend a good tyre that comes with side wall protector?

Yes, I got myself another Z after deciding not to bother fixing my old one. My old silver Zed has been commented on the forum with two of it's own thread, which also led to me being called a Chav. Not too happy about that but everyone to their own opinion. Well, you people are stuck with me for the mean time, as this little Chav got himself a grey Z to take apart and destory like the last one! Not really...! :D PS. To the person who commented about the Nova... No I didnt take that apart when I was driving it around! :D

The car started missing a couple days ago, no power on boost and very irratic idle. I suspected the PTU and following a diagnostic my thoughts where confirmed. I relocated the PTU after it started playing up last year and its been fine till now. The connectors seemed to be breaking down and by wiggling them the idle issue seemed to be cured. I replaced all the female pins in the connector and success, but not for long. The car is now iddling poor and still occasionaly hesitating when cold or hot, still a code 21. The last time the PTU failed the car would only run when cold. Are these new symptoms typical of PTU break down?? If so, i'll order a series 2 P…

So I go to pick up an oil filter thinking they probabaly haven seen a z32 for a while, walk past the workshop and there's a series 2 ragtop on a H plate! Anyone on here?

Coming into Lake from Newport direction...you turned off , I followed you to find out where to get Premium Unleaded...drove all round the island looking for some today !!! You went off up Lake Hill , so I gave up LOL

might be quite obvious, but when i started the car today could hear a lot of gushing from behind the dash board, is this the heater matrix pumping water through or does water not pump through the heater matrix? is it just water rushing through the coolant pipes?

The battery dashlight is alway on.. Then the the hicas, abs the the mission oil, diff oil light. doesn't seem to charge.. But heard that some jap cars has a fuse between the battery and alternator.. Is this the case for the 300. If so, where is it located??

ive seen his avatar says away til 14/06/06 is he the only one who works at getgreddy? ive ordered a Greddy gauge 2weks ago, e-mailed, phoned & had no answer?!! if hes back on 14/06/06 when is he back in work sorting orders??? im panicing sorry :(

I have no aircon, front/rear wipers or clock at the mo (http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=70067&highlight=electrics+problem ), dave saw my post & told me he had the same problem when he removed this wire form the footwell fuse box (see pic) - all worked ok when he put it back in! Is this some sort of bypass/fix, I am wondering whether i should try it... Though looking at the jap fuse box spec http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/fuse-translation.jpg I am not sure why this would work and effect air con & wipres! Any thoughts?? Cheers Barry

I've been trying to get the same refurb company to do my wheels now for over a week - but because I cant 'split' my split rims they wont pick them up - and I cant get time off work to take the wheels to them. So I thought I ask on here to find out if anyone knows what materials I'd need to DIY. I thought - mask off the rims themselves which are in good nick. Sand down the spokes, taking off all the old finish and making them smooth to touch. Prime them, paint them, lacquer them. How hard can it be? I was thinkin gloss black plasticote and several layers of lacquer. Any advice welcome from anyone who's tackled this. Paint type, etc?

Hi guys,My car is due an engine service soon and i was wondering if anyone knows the best place to get standard Nissan service parts ie air filters,oil filter,fuel filter etc?Is Nissan dealers the best bet or do any traders on the forum sell them? Cheers Ron

Hi peeps, need some help in wiring up my new greddy boost guage ( electrical ) as my oem guage is dead as dosen't do very much !!! ...also got a temp ( water - electrical ) guage while i was at it and just need info again in how to wire it up and connect. I had a massive light problem (black tape etc) which has all been fixed but my dash light does not work, how easy is this to change and could ti be somethign else, I have a new light switch panel, and checked the fuses in the foot well

I have an uprated engine oil cooler fitted, and have just found my original. If i flush it through can i use this as an uprated autobox cooler?? If yes, whats the best thing to flush it through with?? cheers
