Alledgedly, you can buy these connectors from RS Components, or something very similar in a material that is better to the Nissan type, i.e. more flexible and less prone to breaking. Does anyone know the type, part number etc., or even if this is true, and not a myth. Mine are well cooked and very crisp, so replacement is on the cards.

http://www.fumotovalve.com/ Check this out, it looks really good. The mazdarotary forum is orgainising a group buy and I was wondering if we should join them? I wasn't sure if it would protrude too much bearing in mind the position of the zed sump drain plug? Obviously the photo is an rx7. Anyone any thoughts, if it worked it would make oil changes a whole lot quicker. Dave

Anyone look over my log file (attached zipped up). It looks lean? Am I losing power/damaging anything. Does everything else look ok? How do I fix the lean (if its running lean) as its got an aggressive fuel map so I would have thought should run rich.

hi i today decided to start stripping my engine today to investigate a intermitant rattle ive been getting between 2-3 thousand revs and after removing the cambelt cover i found that the cam belt tensioner was collapsed and therefore the belt was very loose so much so that i could move the belt up and down over a inch inbetween the intake and exhaust cam pulleys do you think this could be causing the rattle ive been having as i was sure it was coming from one of the cams ? i now cant decide to replace belt and all other 60k service items and put back together or to carry on striping down to the heads the cams anyway the rattle i was getting is intermitant and …

The picture shows one of my Tein top mounts. I've just had the car 4 wheel aligned and what a difference!!!! much better handling!!! Anyway the fitter said it was up to the driver to sort the "comfort" adjustment out so I got home and took a wrench to the adjustment screw... .... only to find that the big nut it sits in was turning with it!!! Is it supposed to do that? I was under the impression that the adjustment screw would turn in the bolt. If this bolt is that loose could that be the cause of my knocking? Please help me before i break my car again :headvswal

Passenger side seatbelt is getting more+more reluctant to rewind itself, is this just a case of removing the door panel and squirting some oil in ? Any tips for removing the door panel i.e. are there any of those poxy plastic clips that always break ???

fitted the u/d pulley and had lots of belt squeal - even tightening them resulted in a squeal from the alternator belt when revved hard. Spray WD40 on pulley/belt - shut em right up. Not had the squeal since - Im thinking there must be a grease or something on the pulley, so if your getting squeal it may be worth spraying with wd40 before you get under car wielding spanners.

Hi all, I came across this site by a google search as I am looking at buying a 300zx TT. I have to say the technical section has given me alot of advice and some good points. My question is is there anything else I should look out for as I am new to the ZED. I have previously owned jap cars but am having a change from my S2 RST. If the sale goes ahead I will become a full subscribed member by the way. Nice Site guys ;)
