Hi all, new to the site and was hoping you could be of some assistance, Im currently searching for a decent 300zx manual twin turbo as its been a dream car since an early age. Hi everyone, On the way home from work today I was feeling a bit cold as its a bit damp and wet outside. So I decided to turn my interior heater on. Anyway, after a few miles I could hear a strange clicking noise. I turned down the radio and it was coming from the fan. It seemed to be switching itself on and off very quickly. I suppose this could be due to the damp weather! Could anyone shed some light on this for me? Would it be the switch or a bad earth somewhere? Any help would be appreciated!

i think my car has developed a vacuum leak as i can hear a hissing coming from somewhere in the engine and the revs are really eratic, they keep dropping and sometimes stalling the car. how will i find where it is coming from?

I’m planning to order some front and rear ‘Adjustable Upper Arms’ so that I can correct my camber to suit my newly lower suspension (D2 Coilovers). Any recommendations on Powertrix Vs SPL, SPL will cost £85 more but are they worth, not fussed about brand names. Thanks David

both dark grey 1 with big rear wing one standard, both looked very nice examples, good to see some more floating around the area, also a nice and rare coloured ivory one spotted a few weeks ago, hopefully mine shud be back on the road soon, currently driving round in a blue s14a :hyper:

Hi Guys My headlights when on dipped beam don't work. All of my other lights work including full beam. Both head lamp fuses under the bonnet are ok and the bulbs are fine, but my battery has since gone partially flat indicating some sort of short circuit /current drain. Are there any other fuses relating to the headlamps other than the two in the engine bay? Also, could it be a faulty relay? If so, could I test it by swapping it with one of the relays next to it? Dont know who put the sodding tint on the rear windows but its not a very good job - hardly any tint and just 3 or 4 bands of thin film Took it to 3 windows tinters who have all had a go at removing and they've all said the same - need car for a day!!! Price goes through the roof. I dont know if tint was done in Japan, but its a complete bugger to get off. I spent about 25 mins picking off an inch worth. Anyone any better ideas - tried steaming with one of them guns, isopropyl alcohol, and white spirit. is it down to a scraper blade, and very carefully cut around the demists? Cheers

Was checking all my fluid levels last night and my Power Steering Fluid Reservoir appears a little on the low side. Took it out and the HICAS light on dash board flashed up but then went out again. Later took it out again and no HICAS warning light coming on. My manaual suggests I might be needing to top up the PSFR. I don't have any so what should I be buying to top it up, any special brand etc. It's a Brit spec Manual TT. Thanks guys

Quick question on Intercoolers, which has proberbly been asked a thousand times. Car is basically stock apart from Stillen induction kit & Vailside evolution exhaust, is it worth up grading the intercoolers at this point? Bigger injectors also planned for the near future too. Should i wait to get the injectors first or will better intercoolers be any benifit now before the injectors, & which intercoolers do you recommend, have read up on intercoolers and it apperes too big an intercooler(s) can have a negative effect, i understand Greedy intercoolers are good? Cast your mind to the top pipe where the return coolant pipe goes into the radiator. It goes over a black tube and clamped onto it. While fitting my temp sender unit I found this to be damaged, DOH!!! can this black section be changed or is it a new rad job? Just I have read a few stories where they have broke off completely! If I can change that bit and stop it that would be good!

OK, here we go. Anyone on here removed an injector the Dremmel way, i.e. ground the plenum away to get at the screw under it. Have read the Aussie report on this and not really convinced. Perhaps I should remove plenum and do a bypass at the same time, unless of course someone knows better. :mad:

My zed is due an mot next week and I know of a few things wrong that im getting round to fixing. The car produces some smoke on idle from the left bank, its whiteish and since using datascan my left o2 sensor appears a little lazy so im guessing it might be this causing it. As soon as you drive the car with some throttle applied the smoke increases slightly then stops completly even when booting hard in all gears or idling along whilst driving. Also, ive got some front brake type squeeking which is either a warped disc (most likely) or a wheel bearing (trying to confirm which). My rear diff oil cooler is leaking slightly and ive had no time to disconne…

asked several times before just wondering whether anyone has the answer now. I want to stop the interior lights dimming when I put my side/dipped lights on. I know you can adjust interior light brightness with that switch but I want the a/c display to stay at full display and not dim down. I done it with the clock - I cut a wire (cant remember which now) so when I put lights on clock stays bright but everything else dims. Cheers
